This place is kind of an obvious place for a last sushi meal before you leave Japan. It definitely does not disappoint, it’s pretty much a very typical unpretentious Japanese Izakaya specialized in sushi. The chefs are super friendly and the quality of the fish is very high. You really can’t go wrong.

I’ve been here a couple of times now and I really enjoy this place. The sushi is a little pricier than other places, BUT the portions are huge! So I guess the prices are fair. If you are looking for some nice sushi and sashimi I would definitely stop by.

Touted by locals as one of the best sushi restaurants in Japan, Edokkozushi is a unique dining experience. Their trademark generous toppings of sashimi over vinigared rice and top-notch quality seafood is enough to make me return the second night with my boss. Sit at the counter to watch the sushi chefs in action.

The chefs here made everything to order. The price was reasonable and the food was awesome. I ordered a pre-fix platter that came with several varieties of sushi. Just be warned that the chefs put wasabi between the fish and the rice...it surprised me and many diners around me.
