The atmosphere is great, and the spring roll we had were very delicious and different from the standard ones. The fried rice, although very well presented, lacked of taste.

One of my worst experience at a restaurant. It was not the food nor the decor. It was the staff hygiene and service. We were seated near the kitchen where the service staff were seating and waiting to deliver the dishes to the table. We noticed that two of the male staff who were in sandals were picking on their toes and looking at their smartphones. And then these same staff picked the dishes to serve -- without washing their hands first. After delivering the dishes to the tables, these staff went back to their seat and this time, started to pick their nose. Then when the food was ready they again picked up the dishes and started serving. This time, it was to our table. After witnessing their unhygienic behaviour, we could not finish our food and started leaving. We called the manager and complained about the service at which time the manager apologized and offered a 10% discount. I told him that it was not a money issue but the staff behaviour as picking their toes and noses and then with the unwashed hands serving the customers. This was not acceptable in a restaurant such as Apsara or any restaurant.
As I could see that this was not a first time occasion and the manager was not serious about correcting the problem, we paid and left. So if you are visiting this restaurant, please be aware.

Food was tasteless.

The coconut fried rice was a huge nono ... i wonder if the fried rice was cooked elsewhere and then stuffed into the coconut as there had been no symphony between the coconut and the rice at all... we also ordered crabs and clams, the former lacked flavour while the latter still had sand. Overall food quality is terrible.

Service was absolutely disrespectful. We were all originally all in a jolly mood when we were ordering food, and were naming dishes one by one in turns, to the waiter. Although the overall scene was peaceful, the waiter suddenly shouted "one moment" in an obnoxious tone at one of my friends. This is simply rude and could not be tolerated. My friend was startled and had to leave at the end in shock and dismay.

I do not recommend this restaurant to seekers of good food or service, except if you would want to be served tasteless food with rowdy Koreans shouting around you.

The decor is intended to replicate the Cham sculpture but is not that successful. Place is looking tired. The food was average with many set menu choices grouped by price. Seems geared towards large tourist groups but was quiet on the day we were there. portions were decent and menu sufficiently varied to suit most tastes (provided its Vietnamese).

The inside is run down. Needs re painting and refurbishment and a Good cleaning. Good wasn't as bad. Nothing special. But when you eat in such an unclean environment your thoughts automatically go to the kitchen!!
