Beautiful filling food and great service. We had the Vietnamese pancakes on the recommendation of the owner and chicken spring rolls. They were both delicious. The prices were reasonable with four drinks the bill came to 390k dong. A great place to stop for a yummy Vietnamese meal.

The squid and the seafoods were not fresh at all, they don't have any taste anymore. The lady who's working there was quite rude, it took us at least 10 minutes to pay although there's not much people inside and she yell the price at us without any bill.
The only thing nice was the crispy noodles with chicken, they were very delicious.

Ordered 5 dishes off the menu between 3 people and the portion sizes were tiny, and the food we received did not match the description given on the menu - over priced for the quality and size, better off going somewhere else. Also, the staff were not overly friendly. Not the worst place to go to, but I wouldn’t go back.

Not sure why they received some negative experiences from some travelers. I had one dinner, and came back again the next day. The manager was attentive, he suggested what is suitable for your taste. Hot pot is also available with tasty sweet and sour soup. Recommend you share some authentic Vietnamese main dishes (appetizer, main dishes, soup) to have with rice, rather than having just a single dish. I think they are not good at Western dishes but absolutely Vietnamese ones, they tastes like what we eat at home. For value, yes, they are better than the near by riverside restaurants.

We sat down for a drink. A family of 5, grandparents, parents and a 3 year old. Ordered drinks first as we had not decided on food. The menu is massive, but on a second glance it is the same food listed but with a page for each chicken/beef/pork/fish/prawn etc so very misleading. The owner kept harassing us order food, maybe 5 times in 10 mins.

My daughter decided, as toddlers do, that she wanted to sit by mum and dad instead of grandparents. So we tried to switch her from one end of the table to the opposite side. Moving the table by about 40cm and taking up no additional space............the female owner flew into a rage screaming at us "YOU ARE NOT MY ONLY CUSTOMERS, THEY NEED THE SPACE!!!!" (actually we were almost the only people in there at this point, 2 tables of roughly 10 taken).

At this point we of course were a bit offended and decided to pay for the drinks we had so far (only half finished) and leave the place to the nasty woman. She proceeded to scream at us and harass even after we had paid for the drinks and walked onto the street. Her parting shot was to scream that my wife was "really bad for a Chinese"......My wife is Indonesian and doesn't look chinese at all. Nutjob of a woman. Maybe we caught her on a bad day. Maybe she tasted one on her horrible bland drinks. Not sure how you can make a Gin and Tonic taste so bad but she managed it. Go here at your own peril. There are many places close by which were great. The street behind has a very nice all you can eat bbq buffet for a good price. The same street behind also has a very very good rooftop restaurant called The Chef above a shop, which caters to Gluten Free customers.
