My wife and booked this hotel as been
Closed to town centre and over looking the part of historic wall
It is nice cosy we met by the owner
Up on arrival pick up from port part of the deal lovely magical garden
The room has that colonial feeling with
Wooden floors
All in all we are so happy in this room
And the location as we can walk every where round and about the centre

Stayed: April 2018, traveled with family

Our one night stay at Kitap Evi Otel was a good one. We arrived pretty late from Istanbul (midnight) and the staff got us parked, our things to the room and brought us soup and bread even though the kitchen was closed. Breakfast the next morning was the most amazing I had on the trip and they even lit a fire for us in the fireplace. Cozy and warm surroundings and a beautiful garden behind the breakfast room to look out on. The hotel is located inside the old city just above the Bazaar. A great locale!

We have spend 3 nights and paid EUR 330 including breakfast for say semi lux room with generous size and overlooking backyard.
This hotel comprises a historical wood building, subsequently the internal design has also quite boutique style.
However you will have all necessary facilities.
The location is perhaps the best if you would like walking around historical places by foot,
Would be happy to stay here again.

Room Tip: the best and most expensive rood is No 8 with beautiful view over historical centre

The hotel was very good - in an renovated Turkish house. The service was very friendly and helpful. The rear garden is also a lovely place to spend a few hours. The breakfast is large and superb. We loved our 2 night stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This is an older building converted to a characterful hotel. We had a junior suite, which was a large room with an individual character ("quirky" is my wife's word). It was very quiet, as it overlooked the garden. Some of the fittings were perhaps a little worn. There is a garden with a room or covered patio area at the end where a fire was lit in the evening for diners to enjoy - we did not try this, but it looked inviting. Breakfast was average.
