Very nice boutique hotel, rather smaller in size but great location, immediate access to beautiful beach, hotel very well managed, staff was professional, helpful, pleasant and friendly. Rooms were spotless, equipped with mini-bar with water, sodas and beer and a hot water kettle and packets of coffee or tea. Food was delicious, every day was huge variety to chose from, everything was tasty, no lines for food. Breakfast tables were each provided with pots of coffee. The moment you sat down a waiter came and asked about a drink. We had a wonderful time in this hotel, would be glad to come back here again!

We went here for 1 week in the end of april/beginning of may 2018. We were a company of 7 adult and 1 one-year old. We stayed one week.

Service: We had a real bad beginning to our stay. We came late in the night and was greeted by a fat, bald man in the reception. By some strange reason they had mixed up who was sleeping in which room. When we said that it wasn't the right rooms he raised his voice at us and made it very clear that we should just shut up and do what he said. Luckily he only worked the night shift and we didn't see him again.

Other services we found was a bit lacking was during lunch and dinner. We never got a refill on our drinks until our last night when there was turkish night.

Except from the above mentioned situation, the personell was friendly and did their best.

Food: The food was very good! There was a lot of variations between lunch and dinner. I think we could have stayed another week before we got tired of the food. And that says a lot when you're at an all inclusive hotel.

There was almost always something to eat, if it wasn't brekfast/lunch/dinner there were snacks or desserts by the bach bar. There was alot to choose from even betweens meals. If you didn't want to interrupt your day by getting dressed for lunch you could easily skip lunch in the big restaurant and eat by the beach bar.

Pool: The pool was big and never felt full. This is not a hotel you chose if you are on a vacation with small children who wants to swim since the pool was neither heated or had any shade.

I dont know if we were early in the season or if we started our day early, but we never had a problem finding sun beds.

Beach: The beach was wonderful, there were mostly sand och it was shallow far far out! But as always in Turkey theres not much space between the sun beds. And as mentioned above, no problem getting sun beds by the beach either!

Bar: After being to a couple all inclusive in Turkey i was not expecting much from the cocktails or the beer. But it was OK. It was real Efes and not watered out. The cocktails really depended on who did them. They had a list of cocktails but it was always different ingredients. Example, they made Bloody Mary with 50% vodka and 50% tomato juice by the pool/beach bar. They didn't have any hot sauce or other ingredients, but you could get a decent Bloody Mary by the Lobby bar. All the cocktails was made with 50‰ liquor so if your not in to that much alcohol you could ask them to stop pouring :)

Rooms: Rooms were clean but a bit small. But that really didn't matter since you almost didn't spend any time in the room. The AC worked well. There was a minibar that was included in the price. It was filled with two cans of beer, a big bottle of water, and a couple of soft drinks. The minibar was refilled every day.

I have been to different types of hotel but this is the first hotel, all inclusive or not, where you cant change your beach towel as you like. You get the first one "for free" and if you wanna change during the stay you have to pay 1 euro each time you change. This is really bad and not something you can except from a five star hotel. Specially when its a hotel with a 'beach' orientation.

The guests at the hotel were mostly Germans and Dutchmen which is alot nicer than the russians that starts their day with vodka :)

The personell didn't always speak english but all seemed to know a lot of german.

We went with a 1 year old that both guest and personell was really friendly towards. When she started crying in the restaurant nobody started louring at us. Everybody came to talk to her which made our first vacation with a child a pleasant experience.

Overall a good hotell with some improvements!

We stayed in a family apartment during the Easter break at Side Star Beach and our expectations were exceeded. Food was wonderful (everyday different), location was more than convenient and we saw the most incredible sunsets from our balcony, cafes & shops near nice to visit and the staff just fantastic. Staff were smiling all the time and did everything possible to please all guests. They were always there to help you, to fill your empty glass or ask you if all is ok. I travelled the whole world and never saw such well trained stuff! Congrats to the management for this accomplishment.
The hotel also offers guests an a la carte restaurant evening (by reservation only a few days before). We were at the fish restaurant, which was great!
Tours offered by the hotel are also great but slightly more expensive compared to the ones outside, however we didn’t want to risk having a bad experience.
Included in the price are also the cocktails but the quality of the alcohol is very low. The non alcoholic cocktails were better:)).

Areas to improve:
1. Very poor internet connection in the hotel rooms!
2. Sun beds are ‚reserved‘ by some people with a towel early morning but they stay empty the whole day. Do something about this people!
3. The photographer of the hotel was very rude to us 2 times when we told him we don’t want our photos taken, even if is a free service!
4. SPA Manager Erkan very insistent on massages as well and he is not aware of cultural differences between West and East. He could achieve more by just being courteous.
5. Gym has old and some non functional equipment. Also no towels are provided there and if you need to go to the gym you have to take your own towel from the room.
An investment in the gym would be welcomed as many people use it.
6. Coiffeur lady downstairs is does a bad quality job and is expensive by comparison with other similar salons 2 steps away from the hotel. Very disappointed!
7. Arriving at the hotel at 2am in the morning, we were checked in by the most rude receptionist ever that wanted us to sign and fill in a lot of paper. After a long trip my husband asked if we could do that in the morning but he said no and that otherwise we don’t get a room. That was a first very bad impression but lucky enough we never saw this guy after this.

However the good sides were weighting much more than the bad ones and we would like to come back to Side Star Beach.

I WAS VERY UPSET TO START WITH THE STAFF. THE REMOVE MY SUITCASE Without my permission. Then the want it to bring is to my room without my permission(it was like 2 meters from the lobby). And then he expect that i will give him money. And when i didnt give him money. He starting to say %$#&@%&@!!! Wauw! Food in restaurant to Bad!!very cold and has no flavor. This hotel is not for people under 50 years. And there where to many german people. Didnt like is. Staff want for everything money. And if you dont give it them they will me zo RUDE TO YOU. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS HOTEL AGAIN!! cleaning ladys are very sweet

Nice hotel, nice food.
I think more than 50 percent are german.

Two comments,
The Germans claim the sunbeds in the morning, Hotel staff doesnt act on this while its in their swimmingpool rules that its not allowed to do so.

The Spa manager is rude. Sauna should be available at 1400. But they put it on at 14:30.
Complaining about this, he ignores you, and treats you as a annoying stupit.
