Just stayed for a week at the Ramada Plaza on the ultra all inclusive package and had a great time.

The hotel is very modern with a stunning reception area and incredible views of the sea and mountains.

The pools, spa, fitness facilities are all very nice with the outdoor pool also being heated so it was perfect for a sunset swim even on cooler days.

You won’t go hungry here! - There is pretty much always food available, while it can be repetitive and some dishes lack flavour, there was always an abundance of fresh salad and fruit and plenty of desserts. There is also a 24 hour bar which serves a good selection of drinks, free to the all inclusive customer.

While some staff seem quite vacant there are some shining stars. Mehmet on the lobby bar was always attentive and greeted us with a smile. Romeo, the head of the animation team always tried to find us something fun to do, such as a cocktail masterclass for the two of us, even though it’s pretty quiet at this time of year. Finally Saban from the waiting team was amazing, so helpful, our glasses were never empty, he would go out of his way to get you anything you needed.

Overall had a lovely stay at the Ramada and would recommend.

Great LOCATION, a short walk from the buzzy Hadrian Wall & Clock Tower area, with their plethora of bars, cafe and restaurants.
The hotel has a modern look, and amazing sea views, especially from the restaurant and the pool area. There is no beach as such, but lovely decked areas overlooking the sea (direct access to the sea is possible), those with mobility issues might find this challenging and prefer the pool area.

The SPA is lovely, however it's expensive (even by London standards). Their intro offer of €39 p.p for hammam & massage was worth it and enjoyable.

ROOMS per se are fine - (don't bother booking a side sea view, you won't see much) cleaning is below average, and definitely not what expected at a supposed 5*, they don't have a double duvet (you are given 2 singles, when asking). Toiletries are no existent (except from some wall mounted, dubious shower gel squeeze bottle) so bring your own, unless you prefer to purchase the ones provided in the bathroom (average price is €5 per item).

If I was to go back to this hotel, I would stick to bed & breakfast. FOOD is extremely repetitive and average, unless you go at the beginning of service it won't be fresh - they don't replace it. We had all meals included but after few days we ditch their restaurants and went out all the time.

The STAFF, alas with very few exceptions, is disinterested at best. They don't look happy working in this place. When I see below par service, I never blame the staff. It's always the responsibility of the upper management/ownership when staff is not properly trained or doesn't enjoy the best working conditions so much that it will reflect in the level of service they provide to their customers.

They need to invest in more people speaking English. I'm not a native English speaker myself, however we all know that this is most widely spoken International language when traveling. Hotels cannot expect a tourist going for a week to learn Turkish, and if they want to play the tourism game, they need to train the staff to cater for it, (especially in the restaurant it was very difficult).

The hotel is cleverly constructed and it had a lovely lobby (the upper part looks quite grandiose in fact). The airport is very close by, took us 15/20 mins and 65 TL

Overall I would give a 3.5 - I would go back for the good location and modern look.
It was adequate and to manage your expectations, it's best thinking that you are going to 4* hotel with a 3* service and you won't be disappointed.

We traveled first half of November and the weather was glorious.

Room tip: Book a sea view (side view had not pretty buildings in front of us)

We booked 2 rooms as previously this hotel was great, this time we were sadly very disappointed.
The rooms were cold, no way of individually controlling the room temperature.
The shower moved in the holder and flooded the bathroom.
The food on halfboard was extremely disappointing.
Staff in the lobby bar were too busy talking to each other to serve or take orders.
It is a shame that standards have slipped so drastically in the 2 years I have not been.

Very clean and hygienic hotel. Service was great too there is so much to do in the actual hotel that you don’t even need to go out most days unless you wish to sight see.

The spa in the hotel is absolutely beautiful and the ladies working there their hands are magic. It’s really great value for money. Such a beautiful ambiance you totally feel relaxed.

They also have their own diving center there and scuba diving is so much fun but must warn you scary when u first jump into the deep end. The organiser Cengiz and his sister Inci are amazing people and so helpful along with their partner peter who really helps you remain calm in the sea but the whole experience is breathtaking.

I would most definitely go back there but to this hotel resort I had a lovely enjoyable time there. I can not fault it in any way.

The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the food served at the Restuarant I just found it repeated every day and lacked in flavour but the staff were very nice.
