We stayed here for my partners 50th birthday in July 2015. It is a fabulous hotel. It is so centrally located and ideal for Bangla Road. Crikey! there's a place that opened my eyes!!

The reception staff were friendly and we were checked in quite quickly. e room was amazing. We had a pool access room and it we loved it. The style of the hotel was funky and contemporary and ultra modern.

The bed was so comfortable and huge too. The bathroom was luxurious too with a separate bath and shower. A mossie got into out bathroom somehow and ate me alive! We just locked it in there.

The restaurant was great. We had lovely lunches and dinner there. Breakfast wasn't much to write home about though.

The rooftop bar was stunning with amazing views and the best service I have had in a long time. The waitress remembered our orders and brought them to us. So efficient.

The pool bar was by far the best I've been to. The guys Jae, T and Mann were fantastic and always waved hello to us even when we were walking past. the service was excellent and faultless.

The only con for me was the shower room which we had to use prior to leaving. It was down some dark stairs and was pretty messy. You would have thought that a hotel such as this would have a proper courtesy room for people to use but other than that, I will not hesitate to go again but not in the rainy season!!

It is a very lively hotel so don't visit if you prefer something more sedate.

Room Tip: Pool access rooms are a must.

Very short walk to Bangla Walking Street. Which is the main strip in Batong. So if you have a big night out it is a short stumble home. Also close to Patong Beach and lots of restaurants.
It has a swim up bar and great area for tanning (not that I care but my friends do) and a Sky Lounge with a cover band that plays awesome music.

We book this hotel for 10days and today is our 5th day. Most of the staff think I'm Thailandese and they speak in their language, I have no problem with that. My concern is they treat me like I'm stranger and unbelievable that every morning when I have breakfast I always face the different service from the staff even the Manager. They never offering me Tea or Coffee as standard service for 4star Hotel, didn't great Or smile, not even excuse when they want to clear up the table. Too bad for them working in hospitaly with narrow minded. The hotel itself located in strategic place, and I think the only one I get from this hotel.

Dear aris s,

Thank you for taking the time to share your most recent experience at The KEE Resort & Spa.

I am sorry to hear about the lapse in service that you experienced. This definitely does not sound like the personal service that I know we are capable of providing. I'm glad that I was able to meet with you to clarify the misunderstandings. I'm glad you also felt much better after our talk.

Hoping nevertheless for your return and looking forward to welcome you again.

We arrived on a Saturday late afternoon to the thud thud thud of music,(which is not my taste) which went on till late. I was with my 25 year old son who thought it great. The rest of the stay the music was no so loud. The first room they gave me had no out look, in fact it had no windows. Almost like a prison. I immediately went to reception to request a room with windows. They were quite accomodating and instantly swapped rooms to a higher level. The rooms are clean, spacious and very modern, so to the bathroom. Fresh towels, sheets and water every day. The breakfast is amazing. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is central. Backs on to Bangla road and close to beach. Rooftop bar(sky lounge ) has nice view and a nice breeze but for me music too loud. Fabulous hotel but not for me for the younger crowd.

Really really really good resort ,
To keep it short and simple I'll list all the pros that I can remember (post Thailand alcohol consumption memory)

For reference we stayed in the pool swim out room
PROS
Rooms cleaned daily (they even folded our clothes which was left laying around)
Bedsheets changed daily
2 bottles of water provided as part of package daily
We requested extra towels and these were delivered in minutes
Close proximity to bangla road , patong beach and shops so saves money on taxi and tuk tuk transfers
Full security resort I saw at least 4-5 guards around premises 24hrs a day (these keep the touts and Thai working girls away from loitering around your resort which makes it feels like a cleaner environment)
Has an exchange money booth right next to front entry
Friendly staff that remember your name and are willing to go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one
Tasty and prompt room service
Icy cold air con
Modern stylish decor

CONS
Absolutely none
I have read some reviews that people say some rooms can be noisy due to bass from clubs on bangla road but we had no such problem ,maybe this would vary depending on room side as this is quite a large resort.

Hints
Request a pool room on the inside channel of pool not the main area as this can sometimes get busy around happy hour at the pool bar 2-4pm

Most definitely opt for the breakfast buffet in your package it is delicious with a wide variety to please all ! (Ask chef for omlette absolutely scrumptious)

Get your portrait drawn up by the man that's in the side street for only 100baht! Which is about $4AUD

In general a really good hotel will definitely come back here it ticks all the boxes and honestly gave us nothing to be upset or angry about. Special thanks to T, BIG DIT, super MANN from the pool bar and all the sweet smiling reception girl staff
Thanks for a great stay look forward to visiting u again The Kee
