Realise its gonna be a tough climb for about 20 mins even if you are fit and healthy in 38 degree heat its tricky but totally worth it. Take freque t rest stops and you should be fine, the stairs are steep though so be warned

This is spectacular....however,its bloody hard going to get to the top and some people will NOT make it .The steps are very very steep most of the way and definitely do not conform to what is considered normal by western standards.....that said, your in Thailand!!!....stop whinging, dig deep and crack on.Went up with a 10 year old girl and a 12 year old girl, both ended up crying half way up but pressed on and made it.Im nearly 60 got a dodgy knee, and definitely wont be doing it again, but the views are stunning, great photo opportunity and we can say it's been done.Beware the gangs of theiving monkeys at the start of the climb, sunglasses, cameras, and any food or drink items seen will initiate a monkey mugging!.Have fun....or a heart attack😉

I enjoyed the caves and spending time with the monks. Would recommend this stop when in the area for sure.
