The Hotel is very centrally located - close to Markets, shops, bars & restaurants. The staff all speak good English and are very helpful . The rooms are clean and well appointed, with upper floors offering a stunning view of the city of Hat Yai.
Slightly let down by the breakfast, which really has nothing to offer us westerners. Better to go elsewhere if you want anything more than toast.

Stayed at BP Grand Suite Hotel on 6th Floor. This is a better furnished (refurbished) hotel than the BP Grand Tower Hotel as they are under same management. Strong Wifi, very efficient split unit air-con that doesn't goes off when you pull the room card so room is always cold, strong water pressure for both hot & cold water. Our King-sized bed was large as were the room & bathroom, but pillows was a dud. Very easy walking distance to all the food outlets & eateries, and to shopping at Odean Dept Store, Central Dept Store & Lee Garden. On Saturday night there's a night market with lots of food stalls so get there early.
I don't usually reveal good eatery but there's two great chicken rice shops right in front of the hotel's car park a few doors away from the "One Shop" convenience store. I prefer the second one just a few doors away with the "Betong Chicken Rice" signage. Just further down the street is the popular "Kan Eng" Restaurant patronised by locals & tourists for their Chinese & Thai dishes. In the evening at the intersection corner is a eatery with two carts selling good beef noodle & pork noodles.

Booked 1 deluxe double room (THB 1711 nett/ night) and 1 executive twin room (THB 1901/ night). Room was spacious and clean with limited basic facilities provided (i.e. shower gel, towel, hair dryer, kettle, slipper, wardrobe & 2 pillows). One extra pillow was provided upon request. Iron box, coffee/ tea packs, brush/ tooth paste was NOT provided even upon request.

One problem we had in our bathroom was clogged water. We called in house keeping staffs twice to settle the problem. Our rooms are not sound proof, next door room neighbour was too loud and noisy. Besides, some hotels only ask for our passports to make copies of the first page but in this hotel, we were asked to hand over our passports (1 for each room) to be kept by them till checkout which I am not quite happy and confident about.

Very simple breakfast, but taste was good. Wi-Fi connection was average only. Location was centralised and perfect, walking distance to Lee Garden Walking street and Kim Yong Market. Receptionists spoke limited English, can't expect much information, but they tried to help with all that they could convey. Our stay was fine but could have stayed in better hotel for that price.

Seriously I have never given any hotels this kind of bad review but I must say this one is really terrible. First of all it is festive season and the hotel should already foresee the huge crowd coming to stay since the hotel bookings would hv been done earlier. The check in process was REALLY SLOW. Imagine each and every customer has to check their booking printed on the hotel's customers name list?!! Everything is done manually & not computerized! The were only 2 staff who were on duty despite the huge crowd! The waiting time to check in is almost an hour. After getting the hotel key, I went to my room and really got a shock of my life! The room is not even ready and yet they assign the room to their customer! Even it is just one night stay i must say this is really disappointing! Giving a customer a room which is NOT ready is totally UNACCEPTABLE!

If you are in Hatyai on a Saturday night, stay here cos it is around 400m to the weekly night market with loads to eat! Otherwise, there r malls but I personally dont care for them. Lots of massage parlour n of the few i went to, the one that is closest to BPTower, next to the pizza cafe, is good, with my favourite masseur whose name is Ah Li (a lady who gives firm massage strokes). Lots of eateries around too.Walking distance to Kim Yong Mkt & New Kim Yong Mkt. Gorgeous shop selling vintage shirts n bags at level 2 of the New Kim Yong Mkt. Room is bright n spacious, nice pillows n bed, clean n not dingy at all. Bring your own dental kit, shower gel
provided.
