Possibly the most impressive temple in Thailand! Certainly the most striking. Would definitely recommend a visit.

It is so different from any other temple you will have seen. It is called the White Temple for a reason - it is all white with mosaic mirrors. Quite stunning on the outside with statues depicting different figures, including gruesome ones in hell. Inside the end wall is painted with a modern mural depicting modern life and the things we do to bring happiness in our world then the side walls show those seeking to lead good lives and the cycle of life. Outside the gardens are immaculate. There are a few other buildings- monks house, library and so on. All painted white but not all yet decorated. It is a work in progress!

A nice & lovely of Buddhist and Hindu architecture completed by a local artist whom spend his own fund to rebuild and maintain the building.
A lovely place for picture and go early to skip the crowd.
