Staff was kind enough to slightly turn down the blaring international music and place us at a table away from the large speakers—we were there to chat while we ate, and since the place was not busy we were easily accommodated.
We were the second of two tables and served quickly: Fish and Chips, Bangers and Mash, and Grilled Cheese with Chips.
Though the breading on the fish looked overdone, the fish was juicy and cooked well. The tartar sauce (my favorite part of Fish and Chips!) and vinegar were not familiar brands—but acceptable considering how difficult it might be to get UK brands in Busan.
Bangers disappointingly contained breading filler instead of being 100% meat, and the instant gravy on the mashed potatoes was onion-flavored rather than beef. It was filling but not worth ordering again at the price.
Staff was friendly and initially attentive but never checked in after we were served. Plates weren’t cleared from the table as we finished, nor were water glasses refilled. We sorted the tab at the register.
I recommend The Wolfhound as a nice place to put on the early dinner circuit for a family. (Just don’t order the Bangers and Mash if you’re a celiac!)
