A beautiful place where we feel at home ly wife, my two daughters (5 & 7 yeas old) and I thanks to the incredble kindness and professionalism of Massimiliano, who create this particular atmosphere of simplicity and confidence. The place and the typical creole houses are just fantastic, and the lodge is 5 min far by foot of Takamaka beach which is an aquarium if you like goggling!
Very good breakfast, I recomand you have dinner there because you will taste the large variety of typical creole dishes (grilled fish, chatini, rougail, salad, curry, and creole barbecue). We spent nearly 2 weeks at Takamaka Green Village which were just fabulous.

I didn't find this accommodation on tripadvisor where it doesn't appear on the listing and it is such a clamorous mistake. I hope Trip Advisor will include it as soon as possible.
The property is well taken care of in a lovely stretch of Mahe.
The premises are no frills but far exceed the average for this level of accommodation. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and lovely and the staff is friendly and always helpful and smiling which is quite unusual around here.
Breakfast is generous and delicious and whatever we didn't find we asked for and were fulfilled.
Local staff is carefully managed by the owner Massimiliano, originally from Italy. He is the soul and the smile of the Hotel. Whenever he wasn't there or busy working we missed him dearly. Always easy going, always helpful. His mission is to make people feel at ease and happy. Whatever he can do to make your stay enjoyable and on track, he will do. We felt welcomed and perfectly taken care of. We never felt like "guests" or room numbers.
Dinner is on request and we were never disappointed considering it is very difficult and expensive to buy raw food. We tried a couple of times to eat out for dinner but were disappointed and came back to Green Village.
The location is fantastic, Takamaka beach wonderful and low profile. The rest of the Island is easily accessible from here.
I could use 10 points to rate for this place instead of 5!!!
We will miss it!!

Takamaka Green Village is an absolute delight for a family holiday. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, with outside terraces. There is an extra shower, a playground and a table football outside the villa. Beach with a restaurant is within a walking distance, and you will also find a few giant tortoises there. Really great breakfast options, ranging from fresh fruit and pancakes to classics like eggs and toasts with marmalade. Dinners are cooked by the manager himself. He is a very friendly Italian guy who transforms his background to a sophisticated dining culture in this lovely residence.

A delightful place to stay in the quieter south of the island. Both owner (Massimiliano) and manager (Sharada) were very welcoming and helpful - this was our first time in the Seychelles.
Our accommodation was very comfortable, the setting is in a lovely garden. The buffet breakfast with a wide variety of island fruit, freshly cooked banana cakes, eggs of your choice, etc., was a great start to the day. We stayed three nights and ate dinner there twice - extremely good food and value.
The laundry service turned out to be free, a small example of the generous and friendly attitude this guest house shows.
All in all, the best place we stayed at on the four islands of our fortnight's holiday. Really good value and great friendliness.
