We made reservations here a couple months in advance. When we arrived for our 2 night stay, they sent us to another hotel in town saying that they were going to be closed the 2nd day of our stay.
They had our email address and everything, so they could have easily notified us if they were planning to close, but they made no such effort to contact us.

1) We couldn't really believe they were going to be closed as the town was very busy for its marathon weekend.
2) And even if they were actually closed, they could have told us ahead of time.

Sadly, nothing good to say about this hotel.

Surly staff, insect infected room, dismal outlook, lousy position, bereft of facilities but still charged $118 for the "privilege" of staying there.

We're Israeli and were only there for 1 night, so this negative review is for the benefit of visitors and anyone who may be thinking of staying longer.

This is an older hotel with small rooms. That is the end of any negative comments. The room was clean and kept that way by an efficient staff. All staff members were gracious and accommodating. The meals whether served in the Prima Too or the next door Prima Galil were plentiful and delicious. The arrangements for prayers were well done as well. This hotel caters to families and foreign travellers. While there tour buses of travellers from Germany, Japan and Africa arrived. All were taken care of expeditiously. The outdoor patios at the Galil are especially charming places to read while watching the Kineret. Great experience.

Room Tip: Our first floor room, 125, had a great view of the Kineret.

In my trip to Israel I also visited Galilee and stayed at prima too
Good hotel for customer service and brunch
Rooms are average but considering that you just go to sleep was an excellent option
Is very central close to the Sea of Galilee about 3 blocks and close to the mall
Also near to artesanal places to get souvenirs for good price

We arrive at Tiberius for annual circular Bike ride, and hardly had time to stay in the hotel. We booked our room a few days in advance over the internet, confirmed by phone , arrived late afternoon,& found out that there is no reservation "in the system". waited for the unhelpful desk manager for 15 min ("He is in the hotel"), and then waited for 20 min more for him to locate the lost booking. The room is dreary, one of the bedside table was broken, peeling carpet, and generally the room is in poor condition.
