It's expensive 150.000 Idr but you get a free english speeking guide. There are over 2000 animals most of them killed by the ohwner. They have copied good wild live situations. Only the transcriptions are not allways writh. Piquins from Europe?

I have been here a couple of times now and still I find it interesting to wander around and probably will again. I don't really want to know how some of the exhibits ended up in this part of Indonesia but I have never seen a display to match this magnitude of variety. It is very well displayed and a tribute to the man and his family in setting it up I feel a must see if visiting Medan and take your time.

at first I was so interested to go see it, but when I was in there, I feel so sad for all the animals. they even have a white (dead stuffed) Anggora cat in there. and tiger babies too.
it's not a place for a person with weak heart, I might say.
