We went to this temple a couple of days ago and it was a nice view.. got down the first set of stairs met a man who lived there.. showed us everything than 10 minutes in he told us he wanted money for it.. We gave him 13000.. which was all we had.. and he was very ungrateful (though it is alot to them) he wanted dollars not rupiah and asked for more.. We said we don't have any he walked away without even a thank you. On the way down even more to the water fall there is a nice view but that ruined our visit and left us in a bad mood. On the way out we kept getting our arms grabbed by people in the shops to come to their shop and did not leave us alone! Our taxi driver came and saved us the legend! Overall nice temple but bad people!!
This 1000 year old sacred site is amazing. Go late afternoon when there are not so many people. The cave of Siva and Ganesha.
The good place for short tracking and know about the ancient archeology and culture of Bali! The market of this area has a very good handicrafts items with very reasonable price. At least half the price from Kuta beach area though you need to bargain a bit. But I prefer to patronise these women entrepreneurs and prefer not to bargain! Would love to visit this place again. Worth visit.
This is a interesting cultural attraction, it´s very Balinese even though there´s a lot of tourists. The cave itself was a bit though on me due to all the fumes from all in the incense. It was also very hot when we visited, don´t forget to drink!
Great day..beautiful place. Stunning grounds and not too crowded. Tip: Arrive before the bus loads of tourists
