I don’t recommend this tour.
Don’t waste money on this Atv tour. It’s hell dangerous and unsafe. I almost fell down twice in the ditch. The bike are old and tyre are worn off. Brakes needs repair. While going down hill our atv brakes didn’t worked well. So I was going fast and it was hard to make turn because bikes are old and rusted. The price is way too much high.
But the people were nice and smiling. Nice lunch but that doesn’t help making your day better. Cause you pay toooooo much.

We did the ATV ride with this company. Prices are not low so you would expect something really good. And the thing that lives up to it, is the track: The scenery is fantastic.

Everything else is not that great. First of all the bikes: They are old and not well maintained. Our bike broke down twice and we were not the only ones. Most people in our group had problems as well.

Before we booked the activity we off course looked on tripadvisor and the reviews are not that bad, even pretty good. After our experience I looked again and saw indeed that most excellent reviews date back a few years ago. Probably the equipment was still new back then or at least better maintained. Now the tires have no grip (profile) anymore and the bikes are dangerously bad maintained.

The group size was about 10 people, with different levels of experience on ATV bikes. This was a problem. The track is not at all suited for people that are not confident on the bike or have little experience. The track goes along some high cliffs with only a small bamboo rail to protect you from riding off into the cliff when you make a small steering error.

About halfway down the track, exactly this happened. A major accident. A girl went off the track and fell down a deep cliff. She was very lucky to survive. The bike did not hit her on the way down. A this point we noticed that the crew did not carry any safety or first aid equipment. And the crew was definitely not well trained for an incident like this.

Let me start by saying we had a great day, whilst my partner is a very experienced motorbike, quad bike rider not all on the tour had experience! This resulted in a serious accident! The young lady fell into a 6 mtr ravine and was so lucky to come out of it alive with what appeared to be none life threatening injuries! What was of huge concern was that the staff obviously were not first aid trained and did not have any first aid equipment! This was an accident but contributing factors were very little instruction and superficial safety briefing!

Taro Elephant Park is 100% the best place ever.
This is the best experience ever, at Taro you get to see these majestic creatures in a beautiful evironment, the keepers are full of knowledge, friendly and go out of their way to make this a beautiful experience not just for us the visitor but they love their elephants, No where else can you get so up close and personal with these creatures.
Nigel Manson you are my HERO, what you have done to save and protect the elephants is awesome and amazing, you and all your staff should be congratulated.
If you are looking to do something in Bali that is relaxing , informative and fun for all ages this is the place to go.
BEST PLACE EVER A FANTASTIC DAY OUT, highly recommend this place

We did a deal where we quad biked in the morning and white water rafted in the afternoon.

We were picked up at 8am in the morning from Nusa Dua. The driver didn't speak much English so it was hard to gauge how far the location was... 2 hours later we finally got there! He kept on saying another half hour each time I asked.

2 hours of quad biking was amazing through amazing scenery all the way down to the river bed splashing our way through shallow water.

My 16yo daughter drove the bike and just had a ball of a time.

The bikes are getting on in age, in fact mine broke down in the river. They give you lockers to store your valuables.

We had a lovely local Balinese lunch and then headed off down the road for the white water rafting which is under a different post.

One point of note to the owners, the helmets need to be disinfected once in a while. They were quite smelly.
