Owner description: The Campuhan Ridge Walk is arguably the best known Ubud trek and with good reason. The sparse crowds and the aesthetically rich vistas remind one of why people from around the world come to Bali. The trail starts at the historical origin of Ubud, the confluence (or Campuhan) of the Wos Rivers.

Not too hard to walk. At the end of the journey, take a fresh coconut water at cafe. Going back is much easier. Nice walk and good view.

The walk was great, you can see Ubud and some rice plantations too! Walk past a temple, and get back to Ubud Centre. I would recommend it, so you can get out of the main road, which is busy.

Ok, we thought we were going on the rice field walk (4km). In the end, our 5 and 7-year-olds walked the whole route back to the beginning (9km). It was beautiful. We walked up the equivalent of 52 sets of stairs but the view was worth it.

We loved the walk! You can see green fields, jungle forests, little tree swing... we bypassed some cute coffee shops until we reached rice fields and small art shops. Not quite sure how long it goes but there's always something to see. Loved it! I would also really recommend our driver Marta (+62 821 4425 2626) who took us there (and many other places). He is really nice and easy guy, very polite and does his work honestly. Advised and took us to a local market to to get stuff way cheaper than in touristic places. Easy to engage in conversations and to know more about real Bali.
