The restaurant was a bit difficult to find... But like the owner said it was difficult to forget! Food was fantastic! The chili crab and black pepper crab is excellent! Will definitely go back if we come to Bali again!

It was our final day in Bali when we decided to have our early dinner in Jimbaran before heading to the airport. Came across Mama Chew while doing a search and we decided to give it a go unaware that a reservation needs to be made beforehand. Bernard and Figie was more than happy to welcome us aboard despite arriving without reservation.

We had their baby squid with avocado. The squid was fresh and tender. Combined with chef's special sauce which really brings out the flavor and freshness of the squid without overshadowing the cephalopod's natural flavor.

We also had their signature chili crab which cobtained three big sized mud crabs. We loved the customized chili crab sauce Chef Bernard made. The sauce which is made from scratch was not too watery like conventional chili crab sauce and is bursting with aromas. Finger licking good!

We definitely will be returning for more Mama Chew!

Great. Friendly, warm and cozy. Baby squid so juicy. Amazing place. Next trip we will try milky crab n coffee crab as well.

Just...woww, never tho i would find very tasty chilli crab bfore in bali...now ive founded it , no need to fly to singapore. Thanks mama chew
