It’s a famous Ganesh temple situated in the heart of Pune. Very packed roads. Parking is available nearby in a multi storey parking building. The temple is famous for its carved idol and ornaments wore by the Lord.

This is a temple of Lord Ganesh, God of knowledge. The place is a bit crowded but what is this small inconvenience when you want to have a darshan of our beloved God!

Visit the most famous Lord Ganpati temple of Pune.
Dagadusheth Halwai (Dagadusheth Gadve) was Lingayat trader and Sweet maker (Halwai in Marathi). He originally came from Karnataka and settled in Pune. After he gained fame as a Halwai, that became his surname. His original Halwai shop still exists under the name Kaka Halwai near Datta Mandir in Pune.
