We were there for lunch today and opted for the buffet as i have previously had and really enjoyed.
This time it was served in a very tightly packed hall with just two waiters .
The seating priorities was not given any importance. Cutlery was not placed properly or not placed at all...
Most of the dishes was empty throughout...inspite of repeated requests and during our spending of more than an hour many dishes were not replenished.
The quality of whatever was served was good.
But overall experience was harrowing and this is the first time I experiencing it. My earlier visits were very good but this time very bad.

Though Arcadia at Kottayam stays is 3 star, the rooms and facilities are not to that extent. I stayed for two nights but the room was not comfortable. Bed at one place and the so-called AC was at one place with heavy noise. Bathroom is very small. Though it is of a 3star status, they did not even provided minimum basic requirements like Dental kit, Shaving Kit, Shampoo n moisturizer, comb, washroom slippers. Electrical points are not working where the tea kettle is placed. One has to search for a proper power point. Needs improvement.

I’m an NRI person(Malta), on the way to vagamon me and my wife had stayed in a hotel for one night, we reached around 9 o clocks there(not sharp), we reached after a long journey (300km). The front desk guy(the person who collected details for check-in) was an old person, he doesn’t even know how to behave towards the customer, and he treated us like we booked for free. I respect his age, I spoke with another younger guy who was more pleasant and professional(working in same department), he apologised when I made this complaint about that person. Hotel management has to make an audit about how your staff behave towards customers, I will never suggest this hotel to any of my friends. Because of that person, he spoiled our entire stay
