A nice palce to visit with friends (offcourse responsibly). With family, if there are elders and young children, they might not find the place amusing and not very safe for kids who want to run around. Drive is out of the world. Make sure you employ experienced drivers for the ride up. Avoid trips after 6pm, visibility might get low.

Mullayangiri is the tallest hill station in karnataka. It is 25KM from Chikkamagaluru town..Best time is from morning 6 to 9 and evening 4 to 6.30 during normal days. Best weather to visit mullayangiri is from May to november. It is the best season time to visit chikkamagaluru..On the way there is a view point known as Seethalayangiri which is 5km just below mullayangiri,there is a temple also.Then at top,there is a vechile parking.From there 400mtr by climbing steps you will reach at the peak point.A temple is also there..We can do trekking from seethalayangiri to mullayangiri,still its not any easy task why...If you are coming from far places without vechile,you can get Open jeep/Tempo trax always near the KSRTC bus stand..Its around 1200rs for each trip..Trip planners will make a round trip which is good which covers a falls,baba budayangiri and mullayangiri which takes around 3 to 5hrs..some of trip planners number are Jamsheed-9483499005,Rafeek-9632635593,9449045378.....

A steep climb of stairs with a great view on the top of the mountain. We loved the hike and the view both. There is a temple on the top. The climb up and down can be tiring.

It is at some distance from Chikmagalur . but the route is beautiful and worth the drive ,,, After the drive .. climb some stairs and you are at the top .. lovely views around .. lovely visiting here
