The temple is very small. You can find a beautiful pond in front of the temple. I have actually visited this area in Aug 15.
What makes this place interesting is the beauty of the nature surrounded by it. A scenic drive with small hills with lush green valleys. The attraction is situated at a bit remote area. No food or accommodation available here. Carry your food and pitch the tent. Please don't litter and spoil the beauty of this place.
Haarlu (Neelakurinji), a unique purple flowers, blossom once in every 12 year around this area.

Just a couple of Kms from Kottigehara while moving towards Chickmaglur, one has take right turn and drive about 12kms to reach Devaramane, a beautiful natural outset. The inner route has partial offroad trails but offers mindblowing views all round and a great adventurous experience driving. There is an ancient temple of Sri Kalabhairava which is very well built but the real highlight is the temple pond located just opposite No words to describe this natural wonder which is so pure and charming. This place will be covered by fog normally. Going by the name itself truely, it seems to be God's own abode as there is peace, calmness divinity and nature. Must visit for all those who need a small break from their busy citylife.
