This was my second stay-cation at Avasa in June 2019. I had a great one in 2018 as well whose review I have already written here. Everything was superb like my first stay except a couple of things -
1. The check-in timings were changed to 2PM from 12PM that it used to be officially, however early check-in was given on request/availability
2. Some of the room service prices were priced so low that you would be tempted to order and end up with disappointment. I ordered a chicken curry and rice combo for I found that at 275+GST. The chicken curry was stale /left-over from the the lunch with sour taste. The rice had soda mixed in it. I was able to manage with pickle, salad and papad somehow.
The breakfast buffet at Pie was superb as usual(will write separate review for Pie). The food and service at Ohm was great too, though a bit expensive. Chef Sukumar Satapathy needs special mention here as well as the serving folks, forgot their name :(
The Skybar was nice too with live music, ambiance, food, drinks and service. The overall ambiance of the property looked awesome as always.
