We had heard the food was amazing so called in for lunch, the space was so inviting we booked out of accom and moved into Aroha for as long as Denis and Ngaire had availability! We had four magical nights. Aroha is the most beautiful place, the rooms are so spacious and INCREDIBLY neat and clean, they have thought of everything you need (and some) when you're on holidays. Even a shaving mirror in the outdoor shower and a kitchenette with tea, coffee, fridge, etc! It really is a home away from home! Ngaire and Denis took such beautiful care of us, we really felt like family! Our meals, drinks, everything was exceptional and their kind team of staff all so helpful. We can highly recommend staying here it's insanely beautiful and TAVEUNI'S BEST ACCOMMODATION. Thanks for having us Ngaire and Denis.

Aroha is very well located for activities such as diving at the Rainbow Reef, Bobby's farm and Gaiatree Sanctuary.

The rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful. The resort is peaceful and very enjoyable.

This place is very well run and everything is very easy, from organizing activities to arranging special meals. When we stayed there the owners were away but the manager on duty, Jim, did a great job.

Food at the resort restaurant is really good (which is unfortunately rarely the case in Fijian resorts). The chef is really good and very creative.

It's worth mentioning that Aroha does not have a white sandy beach. You can still swim and snorkel from there but you should not expect a dream tropical beach.

From the moment we arrived until we had to depart, Dennis and Ngaire - with their staff, did everything to make our stay wonderfully relaxing and delicious. The location of Aroha is just south of the Korean Wharf and is an easy walk to the store to the South or the bottle shop to the North. The food at Aroha was consistently delicious with lots of fresh fruit every morning for breakfast. The accommodations are very well designed and laid out for plenty of privacy. We loved our stay at Aroha and gladly recommend it for its location, hospitality and food. A perfect place to stay on Taveuni.

Room tip: This entire property is very quiet.

Dennis and Ngaire and their amazing team welcome you with genuine Fijian warmth and hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble to make our visit memorable. The bures are well appointed, including a kitchenette and amazing views out to Somosomo Straits. Kai Time restaurant is a popular gathering place in the evening, we especially enjoyed a cold drink at the end of the day sharing experiences with the other guests and our hosts.

We appreciated that Dennis and Ngaire have a family bure available. Facilities were fine but we realized this place lacked an authentic Fijian welcome and warmth that other places during our stay had. Restaurant was great. Rooms very tidy but quite dark. Don’t expect much wifi availability (luckily we were not relying on it).
