Wonderful stay!
All inclusive, the Buffet was lovely! The location superb.

We made use of the spa. The massages were really great, we also did the fish-spa pedicures all at affordable prices.
We also did a boat/diving trip although labeled "dolphin trip" only dolphin fins from afar were seen for a few seconds. The crew caught a tuna on the boat trip and that made a nice addition to the meal served on-board (tuna fish fingers yum!) The snorkling experience was great the spots were filled with fantastic fish and marine life.

While there's room for improvement, the professionalism of the staff and amazing views of the Red Sea make this a great place to stay. The decor of the hotel is excellent, a cross between Arabian and Mediterranean. The pool has light effects at night which gives a luxury feel... there's also a gym, a bar, private beach, several places to eat, entertainment and more. The staff are really friendly and seem happy, which is reflected in the customer service. Literally the only downfall is the buffet, which can be bland, but it's all inclusive so you can't complain. It's truly a holiday within a holiday.

I've been here last week for a week of winter-sun and I can only conclude it was a lovely and well spent week.
The resort itself is large in square meters but because the buildings are max. 2 stories high, it doesn't appear massive. The Arabic building style is also much more appealing than the neighbouring Arabia Azur, which has a "standard resort" layout.
Rooms come in all different forms & sizes and are clean, either with a patio on the lower floor and balconies on the higher level. Bathrooms are well fitted and well cleaned daily.
The only disappointment I could find on the rooms is the odd explanation for "sea view" that the reception has. We had a nice room (D228) which was sold as sea view room, but the the only visible bit of sea was a small slit beyond the harbour. The rest of the sea view was hidden behind a large private building. Rooms on row D24x appear to be the only row of rooms which offer full frontal sea view.

Visitors of the hotel are a largely Germans and Dutch with just a few Eastern European guests

Then the restaurants: there are three in total, the Grill, Obba and a lebanese specialties restaurant which opens twice a week and is not included in the All-in formula, but a good quality meal comes cheap (€15 for a 3 course meal).
Quality and variety in all restaurants are without doubt good. Cooked meals are hot and cold foods kept well cooled. Each day of the week has a different theme in the buffets.
The Waiters are friendly but tend to be a bit too "popular" especially to returning customers. Not everybody does appreciate that. It's also quite odd to be approached and spoken to in German, even when I am only speaking English......

The hotel has a very nice "house reef" and has two beaches of which I preferred the "reef beach" as it offered better quality snorkeling. Each beach and pool has personnel for towel and sunbedservice. These friendly guys also make sure sunbeds aren't reserved which ensures availablity of sunbeds throughout the day. Something every resort in the world should have!
Pool- and beachbars offer drinks from 10 to sunset. The quality is nice but do not expect a "caribbean" quality. Mojitos, caipirinha's and Pina coladas are not known here....
Both pools are also nice and clean and offer good and sturdy sunbeds.

For enternainment the resort offers a daily animation program and an evening show.
It also has a large! billiards room with 4 well kept pooltables and a full size snooker table, the latter at a small extra charge (€2 /hr)
Furthermore there is a basic gym, wellness, 4 squash courts and an all-weather pitch for tennis.

Too bad that Egypt did not immediately offer me that "click" required to go back. I still prefer Spain and the caribbean. This resort is not to blame for this, it's great!

Room Tip: Rooms are available with full frontal seaview. Make sure to mention this on booking to avoid ending up with very limited seaview
