Excellent choice for typical Colombian cuisine. I highly recommend you try any of their beef tongue entrees.

The family celebrated four birthdays in one evening with a large get together at Hatoviejo in the Oviedo mall. There is an upstairs space that easily fit 24 with decorations and a two person guitar band from Abejorral. The service was impeccable throughout, the appetizers were plenty, we bought bottles of rum and Aguardiente which were conveniently placed on the table for folks to circulate, and the food was hot, and served in a good amount of time after order. This is a restaurant that excels in consistency of service and food. Saturdays at their Oviedo location are pretty quiet, so it’s a good night for even more than normal attentive service, especially for group gatherings. All locations, and we frequented three of their four locations on this trip, showed the same quality of food and preparation and service.
