Hotel Casa de las Palmas is a lovely hotel in an historic house with a lovely courtyard. I have stayed here many times with groups and the manager has always been very accommodating to our needs. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. It is just a few blocks away from the Clock-tower entrance to the old city.

Room Tip: There are definitely rooms of different sizes. Be clear about what you need.

I was supposed to fly at 1030 in the night so I paid to stay here for the day its so relaxing and the staff are so kind I decided to rebook my flight 6 days later so I could have a break from the noise and constant party scene this hotel has everything you need and is close to every thing in the area. great place to bring your family or to just kick back and relax. rooms are beautiful at a very reasonable price. its more suited for couples of people in there late 20's early 30's if your travelling solo. I will be staying here next time I am visiting Cartagena.

The hotel it's self is quite beautiful and the rooms more than acceptable but and it's a big but,the owners daughter ? Was sat at a table in the court yard as there was no body at the reception desk reluctantly got up and without conversation walked past us and into the office behind the reception desk, with no acknowledgment.
Only for a young Man to appear with as much enthusiasm as the tortoises that were walking around the court yard, this attitude continues through out our stay.
The hotels chihuahuas got more attention than we did would we stay again no

We found the foyer to be beautiful and our room was lovely, however what completely let this place down was the attitude of the staff and that includes the owner/ manageress. We were not made to feel welcome at all and in fact we felt we were at the very least an inconvenience. We are relieved to say that this is the only place in the whole of our visit to Columbia where we were made to feel so unwelcome. Mediocre breakfast.

We ended up here after a bad AirBnB experience. Breakfast was just OK. Hotels often provide water and since the fridge had water in it we "assumed" that this was complimentary. Upon check out, we had the bad surprise that we had to pay for all the water we had consumed. The staff said, didn't you read the booklet in the room? I would recommend they have this information prominently displayed on the refrigerator that they are charging for water. The owner clearly doesn't like to deal with difficulties.

The location was very convenient and quiet. Nice to have a small pool to cool off in. Our room was spacious. Mini fridge. The room was a good price for this area.
