This is a great museum experience, no expense was spared in building this facility. The private collection of roughly 60 cars are extremely well presented with vehicle descriptions in Chinese and English. There is a QR code at each display that will open a page on your phone with vehicle details and pictures which you can save. The owner is a Rolls Royce & Caddilac fan so expect to see a few very nice examples. Allow at least two hours to take in all of the various aspects including some great coffee in their Cafe. If you have young children then they will be in for a big surprise as there is a whole play section for them to explore and actually drive some electric toy cars. The Gift Shop has books, mostly in Chinese however a good selection of die-cast, something for everyone. Taxis are easy to get if you leave from the North Gate. Admission ticket was 60 RMB and they included some vouchers for the Cafe and Gift Shop, nice touch. I posted 1-2 hours as a recommended length of visit hower 1 hour is way too short, 3 hours would be stretching it!

We stumbled on this having seen the sign from the motorway. And what a fantastic find it was. Cheap to enter, and full of beautifully restored cars, we spent an entrancing half day there (but for time constraints we'd have stayed longer!). A bonus was our volunteer guide (a local who studied in the USA) who was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. A must-do when visiting Chengdu. PS And I'm not a petrol head!

If you have any interest in cars, this is well worth a visit. We worked in a visit on the journey between the airport and downtown. Good selection of Hongqi Red Flag cars. If I was being fussy, some of the exhibits have been repaired or repainted to too high a standard. Great collection of model cars too.

Hard to find but well worth it. Located about 5 k's due east of Chendu CBD nestled around premium car dealers. The place was set out like a 5 star hotel with marbel floor to ceiling and probably the cleanest toilets in China. Cost was about Y60 to enter. Met at the door by an English speaking guide named Jerry Chen who was on hand at all times to answer all questions. The museum had a fantastic array of cars including Aston Martins Rolls. Ferrari, American cars and real early cars including the very first Benz from 1800's. The first display was 2 Chairman Mao's limo's. All cars were pristine and all could be driven. Get away from old temples for a few hours and see this place. Great!
