We went there right after a big rainfall since that is clearly the best time to go however everyone had the same idea so tons of people, traffic. We were lucky enough to hire a taxi who managed to get us up close to the area to the entrance of the park and bypassed the bus and crowds. She also managed to get us a ticket for a small discount of 5Yuan off the price so I paid 90rmb instead of 95 but did not need to wait on line. If you are over 60 years old no need to buy a ticket it is free. At the entrance of the park there is a place for you to buy the tickets as well but bring an ID to prove your age to get a free ticket for those over 60 years old. Overall it would have been a much more pleasant experience if it was not so crowded so perhaps during the weekday with less crowds but in China everyday there are crowds ;-)
