We only booked one night here to set off to the Huangguoshu waterfall and I wish we'd had longer to spend here! The resort is nicely laid out, with separate little buildings of 10 or so rooms along a couple of streets. There's a nice looking pool surround by a restaurant, bar and KTVs in the central area.
The rooms were very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable (not your standard Chinese hard beds!) The shower was not hot at midnight, but the next morning was fine. There is no wifi, which is a shame, but you can plug a LAN cable into a laptop if you have one.
Don't book with the hotel directly. I got it for half price on the elong website (which has an English language option I think.)
I plan to go back and stay for a few days with some friends this summer. It's a perfect place to launch into the natural delights of the area and to relax in the evenings.More
