Arrived after a long flight to find this civilised oasis!
Faultless; wonderful staff, delicious food and drink, fabulous room and a gorgeous swimming pool. They even had vintage cars and spotless Tuk Tuks! Very knowledgable. Thoroughly recommended.

But in 3 days- i couldn't find a single thing.
Picked up at the airport in a Mercedes - greeted warmly at hotel with cool towel and drink. Had made plans with hotel in advance for temple tours- restaurants and massage planned on arrival.
It is a waste of time to try to list the good employees- there wasn't one that was anything but spectacular.
The place is quiet- small- elegant- people speak softly- no nightclub to disturb
Fantastic room- great bed and bathroom--we had a big terrace overlooking pool- which was hard to see with all the plantings on all sides.. what privacy!!
Breakfast was fresh and beyond delicious. Pool perfect for early evening laps. When you leave for dinner- they spray your feet and arms with bug spray....when you return you get a warm "welcome back "
In 2018 they told me they won " best hotel in the world." I laughed- what with New York- London- Paris- Rome- Bangkok- Tokyo- etc- this little joint won? Not sure where the rating was from- but i'll tell you a secret- it isn't far off the mark. We loved every single second.
TRIP ADVISER has led me to some pretty great hotels- here they out did themselves. !!

Room tip: There isn't a bad one- pool rooms better view

Four of us spent 4 nights here while we did the exhausting tour of the temples. It was so good to come back to sit by the pool and relax after a hot, exhausting morning templing. The greeting was always good. Towels and tea appreciated. Our room was very pleasant - nice decor. Service was great - always someone offering to spread a towel or get you a drink. Unfortunately the vintage Rolls, which came to pick us up, overheated in the 37 degree C atmosphere so we had to do with a vintage Mercedes! After this there is always a tuk tuk waiting outside to take you places.

The one downside was that the cocktails in the bar were disappointingly lacking in flavour and dinner at the hotel's restaurant was a real let down. If they could fix this, the hotel would be perfect.

The staff offered efficient, friendly service (possibly the best I’ve experienced). The rooms (and hotel common areas) were tastefully decorated and provided everything a guest could need. The location downtown was convenient, yet quiet since the hotel is on a dead-end street. The restaurant and bar offered outstanding cuisine and cocktails (try the Angkor Fever!) A delicious and copious breakfast was served each morning. Cannot recommend highly enough! We hope to return soon.

Room tip: The decor is lovely. It’s also very pleasant to sit on the balcony and enjoy the cool of the evening behind a screen of greenery.

It was a last a minute itinerary change that meant we ended up at the Viroth’s for 3 nights and it turned out to be the best 3 nights of our stay in Cambodia.

All the staff; reception, bar, restaurant, cleaning & gardening were all so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are elegantly & tastefully decorated with thoughtful additions, such as one plug socket which doesn’t go off once you remove the key from the wall so if you need to leave something on charge you can. Every time you returned to the hotel you were handed a cold towel & when you left to go out in the evening you were offered mosquito repellent. There is a call button on your table by the pool which you can press if you require food & drink during the day time and breakfast is a la carte so you basically don’t have to lift a finger. They don’t have an elevator but given that is your only exercise probably just as well!! The spa treatment we booked was the best I have ever had and again it was an entire experience, not just a treatment. To top off our wonderful stay they offered us a complimentary transfer to our next hotel in Siem Reap in their beautiful Rolls Royce. If you are in Siem Reap you must stay here!!
