This review is well overdue. We had a great week at this hotel The staff could not do enough to make our stay really great. They organised our trips, giving us a stress free week. The room was spotless and both the domestic and waiting staff very attentive to every detail. The breakfast was also top class, a great choice and freshly cooked. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have stayed here for 4 nights. The location is convenient to the local markets with 5 minutes tuk tuk ride. The facilities are reasonable considering the budget. The breakfast buffet is nice with different style including local cuisine. A must try item is the cooking class. The chef is nice and friendly. The whole experience is enjoyable. Staff could speak fluent English, also great service especially for Mr Say. He could remember our names and our itinerary. He also shared a lot on the travel attractions.

Dear Donald,

Thank you for choosing to stay at Silk D’ Angkor recently and for spending the time writing about your comfortable stay experience. We're happy to read your reviews and have shared them with our team here.

Cooking class is becoming popular as guests are able to learn new experiences from our chef and real life of local people at the market.

Certainly, the hotel is just tucked away from the hustle and bustle streets. It’s tranquil place to rest. In addition, it’s a short walking distance to national museum and easy access to downtown/ temple areas.

We hope that we will have a pleasure opportunity to welcoming you back to Silk D’ Angkor in the near future.

Thank you

Stayed as a couple for 4 nights. Selected hotel from reviews and we were very happy with our choice. Friendly complimentary transfer from airport waiting as arranged.
Helpful informative tour arrangements in the hotel by Manager Daniel, who was always keen for feedback on our enjoyment of the tour. We had only positive things to say about the guide,Thany and driver, Jem, who were both excellent.
Asked for Jem to transport us on a subsequent tour which was also excellent.
Breakfast Room Manager Mr Say looked after us with a good variety of foods at breakfast, including made to order omelettes which we had most days with fresh fruit. Both western and Asian foods available at the well presented buffett.
Our stay was rounded with the pleasant experience in the restaurant with evening meals. There was a good selection of meals and we left having enjoyed every meal.
We returned to the Hotel every evening for the meal as we so enjoyed the quality, presentation and service of the food.
We would certainly choose Silk Hotel and their friendly, helpful staff when next in Siem Reap.

We stayed here for four nights and found everything okay.
The breakfast is a buffet and really good with eggs any style prepared to order. There is a nice pool. In our room one light didn't work properly; also the toilet sometimes wouldn't stop flushing. It was not a big problem, but still.
Silk d´angkor is about 20 minutes walking from the centre (pub street etc). It's on side of town closest to the temples.
We visited temples for two days (one day is really not enough!). The third day we went to a place called West Baray. It's a lake with a beach. They have hammocks and lots of nice food. We enjoyed our day! This is a good place to go to for an easy day.

Dear Marja,

Thank you for choosing to stay at Silk D’ Angkor recently and for spending the time writing about your most positive reviews about our property and services.

We are so delighted that you enjoyed with breakfast and had a good rest at the pool. The west Baray is really good place to discover on the culture and local food and people. At the same time, we’re so sorry about the minor issues on the toilet and lighting.

Indeed, the hotel is just tucked away from the hustle and bustle streets. It’s tranquil place to rest. In addition, it’s a short walking distance to national museum and it’s about 25 minutes walk to down town area.

We hope that we will have a pleasure opportunity to welcoming you back to Silk D’ Angkor in the near future.

Thank you
