We have traveled rather extensively and this is one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Our concierge, Sofia was probably the most attentive hotel staff we have ever encountered. She was very detailed in explaining to us everything about the hotel and the city when we first arrived. While we were there, she also sent complimentary dessert. She also arranged a driver for us to use for a short sightseeing trip. All the other staff members were also very professional and extremely friendly. We stayed in room 101 and it was really quite there. We didn't hear any noise at all. The breakfast service has everything that a traveler can ever asked for. If You can name it, they will have it for you. Location wise, it's within walking distance from the night market but yet you are away from all the noise. This is definitely a great place to stay.

Great location for town, markets, restaurants, massage and ATM. Very helpful staff organising tour of Ankor Wat and caring that our stay was perfect. Beautiful comfortable room and nice refreshing pool. We have stayed at many hotels around the world and Sofia for guest relations is now our number one - best ever!

I have traveled to 20+ countries and I have rarely seen such exceptional level of service and focus on customer delight. Right from the moment we arrived till they bid us good bye for our flight - we felt we were being pampered by the hotel staff with exceptional service. Special mention to Jessica who did a great job in making sure we are having a great stay. Judy - another staff member, did her best to ensure our stay was perfect. The room quality was top notch and the food in the restaurant including the breakfast was pretty great as well. Thinking of booking this place - dont think twice. Only drawback I'd say is the location - the location is a bit off from the main market and it is approx 1km walk from the main pub street area.
TIP: Book with them directly to get host of benefits. In our case we got free lunch, dinner and also an upgrade to the best suite available in the hotel.

The staff made our stay here wonderful, they were so careful and gave us A LOT of small attentions. You are assigned your personnal “valet” when you check in the hotel. They took care of everything we needed, always being very kind to us and making sure we had everything we needed. Food at the hotel is as “expensive” as the restaurants in the inner Siem Reap (which is a short 10min walk away). The food was DELICIOUS for the price and the waiters very effective and helpful. The hotel’s restaurant is a must-try during your stay in this hotel. My mom had her birthday during our stay and the whole staff surprised us with a very tasteful cake.
The only con is that the pool wasn’t fully in the sun. This is the only con we encountered, everything else were pros. WE RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!

We stayed at Chronicle Angkor Hotel for 2 nights while in Siem Reap. This hotel is a jewel. Beautifully designed and decorated. Sophia was taking care of us and she went out of the way in order to verify that we were happy and had everything we need. She was really amazing!
We stayed at the presidential suite and the room was very spacious and nice.
We highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Chronicle Angkor Hotel is only 5 min walk away from the hustle and bustle city of Siem Reap, yet still far enough from being distracted by the noisy traffic and crowds. All Chronicle Angkor’s rooms are stylishly designed with the concept of Khmer contemporary culture and furnished with modern amenities to meet the guests’ needs. Between the two hotel buildings lies a beautiful pool, which is richly surrounded by green leafs and tropical flowers, promoting a natural and relaxing environment. The sound of the water dropping will help heal your mind after a long journey of exploring temples. Another essential feature of the hotel is a unique restaurant served by experienced chefs. Located next to the pool, the restaurant has a romantic and sensational atmosphere which is a perfect fit for candlelit dinner under the delicate moonlight. Thus, once our newlywed guests have experienced dining there, it takes them forever to forget such a memory. ... more   less
