We looked at several places to stay around Siem Reap and decided on Sarai for its beautiful setting, architecture, and for the amenities it had to offer.
We were welcomed at the airport by the staff to take us to the hotel and felt the nice attention right from the beginning. The staff was always courteous and helpful to our needs. We had breakfast at the Goat Tree hotel restaurant. Food was well prepared with nice presentation and we never felt rushed.
Upon arrival each day after a full day of sightseeing, we were welcomed by the staff with cold refreshing towels to cool off and some refreshing ice cold tea. A royal treatment!
Our room was beautiful and very relaxing. It was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and room was nicely decorated. A nice place to come back to after a spending all day enjoying the area.
The pool was lovely and had relaxing music playing. Great to just hang out there, soak up the sun or simply cool off.
The hotel is located a short distance walking or by Tuk-tuk from all the busy action of Siem Reap so it offers a relaxing setting with peace and quiet if that is what you are looking for. We were, so it was our ideal place to stay. We stayed 3 nights.
Overall, we strongly recommend Sarai to any visitor and we would return for a future stay.More
