I stayed Here For 3 Days , A Room By Pool. The Hotel/ Villa Has Nice Room (although There Is No River To View Close By Even Though From Restaurant Which Is On The 2nd Floor).
IT is Clean Very small Boutique Style Hotel. The Room Has A Comfortable Bed (little Hard But I Like Hard Beds) Plus mosquito Net Over The Bed. Shower & toilet Are Nice & Good .
I Recommend To Hotel Management To Add An International News Channel To TV (Like BBS Or CNN) & More Towels To The Rooms.
YOU WILL NEED AN MOSQUITO REPELLENT SPRAY (DEET 15-30 STRENGTH WHEN DINE ON RESTAURANT Please Be Careful Of Dangi Fever & Other mosquito transmitted illness). Breakfast is Cooked To Order Not lavish But acceptable. I Would also recommend To Management A Hash Brown Or Other style Potatoes & American Style Sausage , Bacon & Little Variety Of Breads, Pastries To Be Added To Breakfast Menu.
ALWAYS BE CAREFUL IN CAMBODIA & REST OF ASIAN COUNTRIES TO DRINK ONLY HOT BOILED WATER, TEA & COFFEE . NEVER DRINK ANYTHING COLD DRINKS Or Juices ( EXCEPT BOTTLED WATER - DRINKS FROM RELIABLE COMPANIES, Nestle, Coca Cola Or Pepsi Cola -) AS IT MAY BE MIXED WITH TAP WATER(Which Is Not pasteurized) & IT WILL CAUSE YOU A LOT OF HEADACHE & SICKNESS

Room Tip: A Room Away From Road

Dear Sir/Madam

Greeting from River Bay Villa

We thank for your review on Tripadvisor. Your comment helps us to improve our service and facility. As per reading your recommendation, we have a little part that you would like us to improve during your stay with us. River Bay Villa is boutique hotel which consists of 12 Room only, we have included A La Carté breakfast in reservation and there are many options for guest to select such as American Set, Continental set and so on which has toast, homemade jam and everything. During guest accommodation, we provide daily two bottle of Dasani Water and Tea & Coffee making facility. For International News Channel, we buy international channel from company so it is a bit hard to get from them as it is a whole package that all of the hotels in Siem Reap does. Of course, Cambodia is a tropical hot and humid country so everywhere you are out of the room, you need to prevent yourself by applying mosquitoes spray or repellent.

Thank again for your comment which some part that we haven't known clear to make up a change.
We wish to have another chance to welcoming you again and you will see how much we have improved our facility.

Best Regards,
NET

We stayed for 4 nights at the hotel and would like to explore Siem Reap area: Angkor Wat etc. After booking the hotel, contacted the hotel to ask for help to arrange for transport and suggestion. The staff, Net, replied promptly, arrange for our transport efficiently, and give us very good Tuk Tuk driver who took care of our going around the city for the entire duration of our stay. Although the location is on the outskirt of Siem Reap, with tuk tuk which they help to arrange it seems easy just to go any where. The tuk tuk driver (Bunlong) is nice and helpful. Thanks Net for arranging it for us. Net also helped us make reservation for shows, trip I would like to make. The room is clean, however, bathroom needs improvement. The mattress is very comfortable.

Not luxury, but a great place to stay. Staff went overboard to help us with all our needs. Restaurant was good. They set us up with a TukTuk driver that took us everywhere for 2 days at a great price.
Bed was OK. Room was decent sized. TV and A/C worked well.
Recommendations: Buy bug spray!! Everywhere we were in Cambodia had lots of mosquitoes. Our first time sleeping with a mosquito net.
Ask the staff for recommendations. They were very helpful.

Dear Sir,

Greeting from River Bay Villa,
Thank you so much for your positive comment on Tripadvisor.

I am delighted to see your wonderful feedback after your stay with our property.
As in your recommedation, of course everywhere in Cambodia has a lot of mosquitoes, it is good idea to spray whenever you go out of the hotel.

Anyway, we hope to have another opportunity to welcome you back.

Best Regards,
NET

It's not the most lavish hotel in the area, but as a female solo traveller, I felt being treated like a family member there. Staff are so accommodating and welcoming, and speak decent English. Wonderful breakfast and sushi varieties in the restaurant.

This may not be the poshest Villa in Siem Reap, but it certainly met my expectations. Staff that were only too happy to please in all ways. For my wife and I we like simplicity and be able to embrace the people and culture of a country we visit and River Bay Villa was a great choice. Most times we had the pool to ourselves and as we walked through the door from a day at the temples staff confirmed that we desired our usual drinks by the pool. I have no hesitation, I would stay here again. The staff made the stay that much better. Thank you Team. Kevin and Sue Dunedin New Zealand.

Room Tip: Its intimate. It does not matter what room you are in
