When we walked in to this place I thought it seemed too fancy and would be a budget buster, but the prices were really good, and the food was excellent. High-end service on moderate pricing. We shared 4 dishes between 2 adults and 2 kids and everyone was satisfied. Tried the crispy pork belly appetizer, mango salad with shrimp, garlic fried rice (kid choice!), and beef with red ants, and everything was good. Appropriately spicy with flavorful sauces. This restaurant boasts their own organic farm and features a cooking school as well. The chef came out to speak with us after the meal, a nice touch.

We were recommended this restaurant by our tour guide as we were staying at the Tara Angkor Hotel, just a 5 minute walk away. We didn’t have a reservation but they managed to fit us in, even though they were extremely busy. The staff were very helpful and guided us through the menu to make a selection. The fish amok, honey roast duck and morning glory were to perfection.

After a recommendation from a friend, I knew I had to try Mahob and it did not disappoint. It's a quaint Khmer restaurant with excellent options - hard to pick from the menu. The mushrooms were close to one of the best-prepared I've ever had - I didn't want to stop eating, but I had gone a little overboard with my order and knew I needed to save room. The satay trio was good, but nothing to write home about. The Luc Lac; however, stole the show - delicious - still craving that peppery, spicy beef. I'd make a return trip back to Cambodia, just for that dish!

Just had a delicious meal at Mahob. The food was absolutely yummy. We had chicken curry, pumpkin curry, chicken fried rice and surf and turf. In addition to the food, the drinks were cold and tasty and the service was spot on - all with a smile. Cannot recommend enough.
