Recommend staying in this hotel if you visit Siem Reap. Staff is very friendly, rooms are good and clean, and the breakfast is good. Internet connection works quite well too and is free.
Had an issue with the tour guide the hotel recommended, but it was the guide that had bad intentions and the hotel had nothing to do with it. Anyway, if you need a guide in Siem Reap, suggest looking first for one recommended on TripAdvisor.
Suggest getting the tuk tuk that stays close to the hotel, there is a very friendly guy called Kim. We paid for the whole day trip and he took us wherever we wanted to go. Note there might be differences in the price if you go for the small tour or big tour in the temples.

Spending 3 nights here. First impression was very old & quiet hotel. Room smell very moldy. Went down to cafe for late dinner, cafe was so quiet no staff and we need to ask for help from front desk staff to look for cafe staff to take order. Food was ok... During our stay there was a group of China tourist in house which caused a lot of noise pollution! The most unacceptable incident was one of them knock on our door during midnight as they though that we are one of them and another incident was one of them scream at the hallway to wake everyone up follow by knock all the door including our door ! No room for us to change as the hotel was fully booked. Our departure flight was in the evening, on second night we went to reception to check with check out time and being told that we can keep the room till late by paying extra or else strictly check out at 12 noon! I don't wish to negotiate with that staff and we went to reception on our last day to check again with another staff who allowed us to check out at 1pm without charge. We really appreciate with 1pm check out.

We stayed at Kingdom Angkor for 6 nights in April 2015. It was a good location to go out to the temple ruins of Angkor Wat etc, or the City area around Pub Street and the Night Markets. The three storey hotel was neat and clean with a lovely wide staircase in the central area. The breakfast was put out early, mostly for non westerners and seldom replenished, but you could have eggs cooked freshly. The swimming pool was kept clean, we were usually the only ones who swam there, the surrounds clean and tidy. Power was a problem as each day it was off for varying times which meant the lift did not work, although this wasn't the hotels fault, and as it was only 3 floors to our room not so bad. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The tuk tuks waited just outside the hotel grounds and for $3 you could go into the Markets.

Room tip: Either overlooking the pool or main road.
