Imposing frontage of this hotel gives into and enormous reception area, largely filled with a huge wooden dragon and other artefacts. The whole thing would not be out of place in an hotel in northern China.
The room was disappointing; not very big with a view of the car park at the front (and attendant noise and pollution at all hours from waiting buses and taxis wanting to keep their aircon going. The furnishings were dark, cracked and split wood with stained chair covers on the balcony.
Bathroom small - extra shower in corner (already a perfectly adequate shower over the bath but hotel seems to have its heart set on announcing separate shower in every bathroom) merely serves to push WC into corner next to wash basin. Provided toiletries of basic quality but in thick plastic bottles making it very hard to squeeze anything out of them.
Provided bathrobes were pretty but would only fit small people so we could not use those.
Buffet breakfast OK but dishes offered (Asian or Western) did not vary very much from day to day. Self service but masses of wait staff on hand to clear dishes etc. On several occasions, lifting a piece of toast to my mouth resulted in an over-zealous passing waiter removing the side plate from which I had taken the toast.
No draft beer in the hotel. manager said "no demand" which is odd as every other bar or restaurant in Angkor Wat has draft beer on offer and mostly at far less than this hotel wants for a small can. Only hotel I've been in where beer is cheaper in the minibar ($2) than it is for the same stuff from the lounge or poolside bars ($3). I mentioned this to barman who said it was because they had to serve the beer from the main bars and provide peanuts with it. This happened the first time we ordered but after that the "service" was removing the ring pull from the can and the peanuts were forgotten!
Hotel trying promotions (e.g. for poolside dining package for two on Valentine's day) but price was ridiculously high - much better value to be found within a 5 or 10 minute walk.
Swimming pool is extremely pleasant but be warned the tiles around the whole pool area are fine when dry but lethally slippery when wet. This does not mean splashed and saturated; the drips from your own wet swimming costume are enough to make it like an ice rink. The hotel is aware of this and puts down the occasional mat and a few "Watch Your Footing" signs but they really ought to address this issue before someone is seriously hurt.

Room Tip: Pool view rooms should be quieter

It's not that far from the airport. We requested to have an airport transport and we never followed it up but the transport showed up. The driver/tour guide named James was very courteous and accommodating. The hotel staff were friendly. They can improve on cleaning services but the staff were easy to approach if you need anything. They are very efficient on booking dinners and other activities too. The breakfast buffet provided variety of food and I loved the presentation. It is walking distance from a lot of restaurants and malls. There are a lot of tuktuk rides outside that offers cheap transport. The pool bar was very relaxing too. I suggest you pick the pool view vs the city view when choosing a room.

Really nice hotel, but spoilt by a rodent in our room. Another room had the same problem! Otherwise the room, the staff & the food were very good. Loved being able to use the pool. Took advantage of the complimentary massage - great. Didn't see the show

Excellent room, very helpful staff. Buffet option was very tasty and good value. Wifi worked! Cannot understand some of the reviews on here. This is Cambodia and we received a quality hotel. Big and comfortable bed which was the norm for hotels in our stays inVietnam.

Close to city center and pub street. Big pool area and spa. Enjoyed a relaxing massage near the pool. Big and comfortable rooms. Easy place to get a tuktuk. Live music played in the hotel lobby in the mornings.
