Don't take the pictures as is because the place I visited is a far cry from the images featured in Agoda. I was informed by the locals that the place was bustling with life way, way back. But due to a change in management, Damnak Angkor Resort and Spa is just a shadow of a once hip place.
The concierge is not always open. Not all the lamps, inside your room and outside, can be turned on. The water in the pool is green even though the tiles are not. Not all staff understands English and they won't even bother to find someone that does.
If you don't mind self-service, dust under your bed, stained toilets and monotonous breakfast, then book this hotel. Oh and there are only two breakfast options- Continental and American. And the toast is not always toasted.More
