Nice hotel with friendly staff. Good location with pub street only a 15 minute walk.Poolside is very relaxing. Only let down was choice of breakfast, having travelled throughout south east Asia, this was the poorest variety on offer.

Stayed: July 2017, traveled with family

Great location, excellent customer service, wonderful restuarant with delicious buffet breakfast and authentic cambodian dishes at the restaurant.
Just a tiny drawback, we found baby cockroaches crawling on the basin in the bathroom everyday.
Otherwise, enjoyed our stay thoroughly!
Thanks to all the staff who were so professional in carrying out their duties.

I stayed there for 2 nights in a deluxe room. My room is on the second floor overlooking the pool. It’s very quiet (maybe because it’s facing the pool). The central AC works well and you can adjust the level (choose from high, medium and low) conveniently by your bedside panel. And the room gets cool up very quickly– which is a good thing when you come back to the hotel all sweaty.

The hotel arranged a free vehicle to pick me up from/to the airport. Both drivers were extremely polite and helpful. The first one even helped me get a sim card from a local shop (which I will never know how to do on my own). For the driver who took me back to the airport, best of luck with your university exam!

As a first time (solo) traveller to Cambodia, I was hesitant to get a random tuk tuk on the street. So I asked the hotel to arrange it for me. It turned out the hotel has some frequent drivers they hire (who are just around the corner – their tuk tuk have the hotel banner at the back). The driver (his name is spelt Borat if I remember correctly) was very kind and even accompanied me to Kbal Spean – for that I am very grateful. And thank you for sharing your story with me; this is an experience that you can’t buy. The price for the whole day (from 10am till around 6pm) is very reasonable. To finish this fantastic day, I went to the hotel spa located on the ground floor and did a foot massage. It was more expensive than the one you would find on old market but it’s worth it. The room was very nice and smelt of herbs; and it was just me and the massage therapist - she dimmed the light when she started the session. The cold tea and warm tea they serve before and after the massage was very good (unfortunately I still have no idea what tea it was).

The hotel charge for drinks in the fridge and bamboo sleepers (not cheap by Siem Reap standard) – but they do put a sign/price tag on it.

For me, a good hotel is not just the “hardware”, the staff really counts. I was very impressed by the hospitality of the staff in the hotel and the drivers, especially those might be called the “junior” staff.

The Main Hotel Row of Siem Reap is at National Road 6 and Sivatha Boulevard where most of the good hotels are located and Prince Angkor Hotel is one of them. We stayed a total of three nights in this hotel. The hotels in Siep Reap are not tall and the highest building is less than 10 stories high. this hotel is only 5 stories high in keeping with the height code of buildings in siem reap that specify that no building will be taller than Angkor Wat. The hotel has 222 rooms and suites plus a large swimming pool in the middle. It also has it's own spa since Siem Reap is known for many massage parlors and spa (decent ones! ok) specializing in cambodian massage. The hotel is situated in the heart of Siem Reap, Prince D Angkor Hotel and Spa is close to Lucky Mall Super Market (the only mall in siem reap), Royal Garden, and Wat Preah Prom Rath. Also nearby are Pub Street and Angkor Night Market. Also there are many Cambodian Style Tuk Tuks waiting outside for guests who want to go to Angkor Wat or other areas.

The standard rooms here are done in a traditional Cambodian Décor and are large at 40 square meters. amenities include the usual hotel accomodations like TV, Free Toiletries, Bottled Water, Air Condition, Bathrooms offer separate bathtubs and showers with handheld showerheads, double sinks, bathrobes, and designer toiletries. In-room refrigerators, minibars, and coffee/tea makers are provided. free daily bottled waters and Supposedly non smoking rooms but they provide ash trays for guests hehehe and there free internet access via WIFI.

A Caveat: the native slippers provided in the hotel room are not FREE! if you use them, then prepare to pay 5 US dollars for it upon checking out.
