We stayed here for four nights. Once again, Belmond chain of hotels proved its name.
Service is perfect, people very nice, the location is perfect for the city center (take tuc tuc). Hotel itself is quiet. Room was large and very nice, the same for bathroom (though bathtub a little unpractical). We picked room with pool view, expecting the ones facing street to be loud. Not sure if that is the case. Pool is very nice as the whole ambience of the hotel.
We tried to experience as much outside of the hotel as possible, therefore only one dinner in the hotel. Food was excellent, but you pay the price of dining in star hotel. You get fantastic food in the city as well, for less money.

Room Tip: Ask for pool view room, to be sure it is completely quiet.

The service at La Residence d'Angkor was truly fantastic, from the cold towel every time you walked through the door (much needed in the 40 degree April heat!), to the attentiveness of the poolside and restaurant staff. Not the cheapest place to stay in town by a long way, but a very welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle outside.
One small item of feedback for the hotel is that over $20 per person for breakfast is a bit excessive, and should be included in your rates for a hotel of this standard.

We loved staying here. The gardens are gorgeous, the pool is large with plenty of sunbeds and the staff couldn't have been better. They were friendly, efficient and always ready to help or have a chat. We often had lunch here around the pool but we ate out at local restaurants every evening. We were really sad to leave this luxurious and comfortable hotel.

Stayed here for three nights as part of a group tour. The hotel is really nice as befits a an Orient Express property. The location is perfect for the centre of Siem Reap yet just far enough away to be quiet. The Tuc Tuc ride into town is a nice part of the experience. Breakfast is very good and we ate once in the restaurant which was excellent with very good local entertainment.

Wow what can I say. .beautiful hotel, amazing room, gorgeous pool, every one of the staff were amazing treated you like family, the manager took time to greet you personally, they sorted out my visa for vietnam and let me check out at 9pm at no extra cost...5 star service for a very cheap price, if this place was in Thailand you would be paying 3000 baht..The best hotel I have stayed in...Thank you everybody!!!☺
