We stayed 4 nights in Navutu Dreams Resort with my wife and two daughters.
We really enjoyed the stay : our room (GS3, family suite with two bedrooms, bathtube and shower) was very wide, comfortable and quiet. We are French and used to "Club Med standards" all over the world : this resort is really matching those standards.
Gardens are very nice, the 3 pools are nice and quiet, excellent beds, very friendly people ready to help you and maximise the quality of your stay. Hotel is not in the very center of Siem Reap but therefore is very quiet. Food was good (although wine list a bit poor for French people ! ), spa is very good... We highly recommand this hotel for anybody willing to rest and discover the beauties of Angkor site. By the way, if you can, visit Benteay Srey and Beng Mealea, which are farer from Angkor site, do not hesitate ! Benteay Srey in particular is fantastic.

Room Tip: GS3 : family suite with two bedrooms, bathtube, shower and separate toilets, and effective AC in both rooms.

I spent the most relaxing and enjoyable week at Navutu Dreams and would highly recommend it. As other reviews point out, Navutu offers a certain warmth of welcome and care that I think can be rare to find. Part of the reason it is able to do this is because the resort, set in beautiful gardens, is relatively small and so provides an intimate atmosphere and kind attention to its guests. The wellness programme is excellent if you are interested in that, and if not, the provision of tuk-tuk rides into town or the temples is well worth the location outside of the centre. It's not the cheapest accommodation in Siem Reap but it is a tranquil spot if peace and calm is what you want after a busy day of sightseeing, and I think you do get what you pay for. I also enjoyed the food, in particular the Wellness Menu, which offers delicious soups, salads and juices if you a feel like a bit of detox is in order! The restaurant is not as cheap as eating in town but it's right there if you decide to make Navutu your home for a few days, which is easy to do. In summary, if Navutu is within your budget, you can't go wrong by staying there.

We stayed for 4 nights and at $100 per night with b'fst and tuk tuk it was overpriced compared to the other 4 hotels we stayed at in Siem Reap

Pros
Generally friendly, helpful staff
Lovely big rooms with comfy beds and great bathrooms
Beautiful pools with plenty of sun lounges
Nice gardens
Fantastic spa - the best massage and facials of our 2 week stay
It was low season and the hotel was full - mainly with groups who were doing yoga sessions - the feedback from these guests was that it was fun

Cons
The included tuk tuks were great but needed to be ordered well in advance and the novelty soon wore off - having to catch one in and out to town for meals
The food was the biggest let down - food and drinks were seriously over priced and very ordinary
Breakfast was really bad - flies on all the food - hot food was cold and things like yogurt, milk and juices were warm - really unappetising :(
I know it's hard to keep flies off food in warm climates - but just put covers over the food like other hotels do.
Maybe cook less food more often and the hot food would be edible.
Put milk, yogurt etc in dishes of ice and they would stay cold too.
There is no happy hour and the food is so ordinary that guests leave in droves to go into town to eat so hence the restaurant has no atmosphere at night - such a shame because the setting is lovely and it could be fabulous !
The safe in our room only worked occasionally so after asking several times to have it fixed and the issue not being resolved we had to just keep our passports and cash with us - not an ideal situation !
All 3 of the pools were very warm so not at all refreshing. Maybe shade sails over at least one of these pools would help with this problem in the hot season

Navatu Dreams could be fantastic but until they sort out the food issues we couldn't recommend it.

Dear MickiAustralia

Warm greetings from Navutu Dreams.

We thank you for the taking time to write your review on Trip Advisor. We regret that you were not highly pleased with your stay with us. Certain issues you have mentioned particularly that about the flies, have long been addressed. I saw that you were here in June, right at the cusp of the end of summer and the start of the rainy season when such things do happen. However, we ourselves recognized it and have long rectified that. We have a pure resort lay-out with semi-al fresco spaces where natural elements can occasionally affect us. Rest assured, we try our best to address such things that soonest possible given that we also are in a town with somewhat limited resources. You gave the strongest comments on the food. It runs in contrast to majority of the reviews we receive. We do understand that it can be a matter of personal taste. The same goes with the tuk-tuk service as most would rave about the kindness of the drivers and the ease of having them to take you around. We are off the beaten track but we chose to be so. We found it important to be able to offer tranquil surroundings and highlight our wellness vibe.

All in all, we are glad that you have enjoyed the destination. Thank you.

Kind regards,

Sarah Moya

I had such a pleasurable experience. From the correspondence via email, to being looked after and checked on daily by Sarah. The amazing yoga and energy healing I had with Louise and the smiles extended by all the staff. The food was amazing and the accommodation is luxurious! I can not wait to return!

We were not sure when we got here quite how good it was. Seemed a long way out of town and there were a couple of teething problems with our room. However, once you get to meet the staff all of that disappears. The staff are quite remarkable and their commitment is exemplary. Sok Rifl (?) and the whole team could not have done more to make us feel welcome.

I have stayed in better hotels, but very few with this level of warmth.

Food was very good, perhaps my only reservation might be the breakfast, but then that would be rather "picky".
