I could not have been more impressed with our first stop in South East Asia!! The resort is out of the way of the busy Siem Reap streets, in a quiet area, and offers a complimentary shuttle to downtown (reservation required!). The staff were absolutely wonderful, and took pride in their work and in the resort. They are always busy cleaning, dusting, and generally being available to say hello or answer any questions the guests may have. What other reviewers have said about the breakfast buffet is true: some of the widest selection of both Western and Asian items possible! Look for deals at Kainnora Spa (request Chhaona if possible - she was AMAZING!!!), and be sure to spend an afternoon poolside to take advantage of the swim-up bar and poolside food service. There are lots of day beds, and although we didn't use the infinity pool, it looked great. Play area/jungle gym for the kiddos, and WIFI THROUGHOUT THE RESORT, including the rooms!!!!! We booked through hotels.ca and received a one-time complimentary afternoon tea, access into the Club Lounge, and 2pm checkout. Simply put, I cannot recommend this hotel enough for your time in Siem Reap. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!!

Classically appointed older hotel with the timeless luxury and service of a grand hotel property. The lobby, public spaces, and guest rooms are simply but elegantly appointed with deep rich woods of classic colonial hotels.

The service is exceptional from complementerary airport shuttle, front desk, housekeeping, to concierge services. Everyone is truly dedicated to making guests feel welcome and as they center of attention. While a few stumble it is not because of want. The Palace is obviously a learning organization growing the next generation of hoteliers. If it is not right. They will make it right.

I look forward to visiting again to this part of Asia.

Enjoy your stay at this great estate.

Cannot fault the lovely people. Friendly and welcoming reception. Pool view room with king size bed and breakfasted. Room was well prepared smelled lovely, and very comfortable. Beutifully located, maintains a generous essence of culture. Bags handled with care. Everything works in the room beautifully appointed. Lots of tv channels from us, china, local, maybe others. Lovely pool is easy to dangle feet for a cool. Breakfast was a lovely standard buffet eith eggs cooked to order, some variation in freshness of the grilled tomato. The inhouse restaurant was great ... coffee a bit to much air in the froth. We liked that it was away from main roads but not far from city centre and the temples. The hotel has its own fleet of tuk-tuks and the driver stays with you for the day. After using one for a couple of days we were feeling shelled in and tried to use the others around town. Considering the amount of negotiation for such small cost... i would say the hotel tuk-tuk is good value and maybe worth sticking with. We stayed four days. Room was made each day, towels and linen were clean. No tripping hazzards. Nice water pressure. Just a really nice place to stay. We definitley felt that we would love to come back.

Isolated from the hustle and bustle yet close enough to town. Loved the complementary shuttle and very friendly staff. Stayed here for the marathon and will stay here again next year. Great breakfast buffet and spacious rooms.

The room, pool, dining area, landscape are great, although my pool view room only has partial pool view. The restaurant food quality, not worth the price paid. Front desk staff hospitality need to be improved. I was there asking about the car arrangement for our departure and when the front desk lady saw someone wants to check in, I haven't got the confirmation I'm looking for, she just told me to go away and wait, while the other front desk officer was free, because she wants to serve the new comer, so the guest staying doesn't need her hospitality? the pick up offered upon our arrival was an hour late, and when we called to check, they just keep telling us the driver is on his way, but didn't tell us how long we need to wait. First morning, someone rang the door bell, ignored since still in bed then they started banging the door refusing to give in, turned out they delivering a fruit plate. for a hotel that located far from down town, they should have more dining options, instead there is only 1 restaurant. AC system in the room need an upgrade. It wasn't that bad throughout our 5 nights stay there but I won't come back nor suggest any friends to stay there.
