Beautiful, spacious clean rooms.
The staff are kind, welcoming and always happy to help.
We had a small issue with our basin which the general manager sorted within 10 mins of raising the concern, We also experienced a small problem with our cable TV which the maintenance man attended to also, within 10 mins, but was unable to rectify the problem so escalated it to the cable company who arrived within 20 min.
The location of this hotel is perfect to the the restaurants, shopping area and the famous pub street. During our stay we didn't hire a car/ motorbike as we were able to walk everywhere! We even cycled to Angkor Wat on two occasions.
If i had to criticise one thing it would be the location of the pool. The pool and pool area never gets any sunlight reaching it so sunbathing is pointless and swimming in the pool to cool off feels pointless. The front of the building is bright and hot but the back where the pool is is always cool and dark.
The staff in the small restaurant were helpful and attentive, one thing i would recommend is a vegetarian / vegan alternative at breakfast. We didn't eat lunch or dinner at the restaurant as we were always out.
Overall a lovely hotel.More
