First and foremost - 10% of all profits go towards several education programs in Siem Reap - offering you a chance to make a contribution towards community development.

Looking for a place to unwind over a delicious meal and a place with eloquent ambiance? Look no further than Jomnan's Kitchen! When you walk through the entrance, you'll find yourself immediately relaxed by a soothing fountain, friendly staff, and an open space with comfortable furniture with an interior design that feels like a mixture of a Cambodian museum and a top restaurant from France. You will immediately forget how crowded and noisy Siem Reap can feel as you explore a wide range of affordable menu options. There are plenty of options to choose from - whether you want to explore traditional Khmer cuisine, a hearty portion of steak imported from Australia, a diverse set of vegetarian options, or a mixture of Khmer-European fusion, Jomnan's Kitchen offers expert cuisine that will have you coming back for more.

The food is expertly presented and tastes even better! Large serving sizes will leave you full - but I recommend trying some of their Khmer deserts.

I have been living in Cambodia for several months and I ALWAYS recommend this restaurant to my friends and family who come to Cambodia and want a taste of fine Khmer dining. I have grown accustomed to Khmer food but was pleasantly surprised to rediscover the traditional tastes of certain Cambodian classics with a bit more flare and presentation than I have grown accustomed to elsewhere.

If you only have nights in Siem Reap, it would be a HUGE mistake not to give Jomnan's Kitchen a try!

Jibs,
Just so our reviewers know your story: You are back on TA and with yet ANOTHER 1 star review. You seem very adamant to try to take us down, like you are on a mission. That's usually what local competitors do and your review was left before the first time when we were #2, so that obviously didn't sit well with you. If anyone also looks at your account, you also see you reviewed 2 other local places AGAIN recently, ALL on the same day, Feb 5 , that you were also not happy with. As you can see from our other reviews, your one star doesn't match up here. A few things besides your lack of details and bad spelling makes it clear to us who you are, but we will let our reviewers decide. All our staff here is sad that you feel we are a threat to you and you have to try your hardest to take us down. We try to treat every customer special and we are here for a reason.... to give our Cambodian staff jobs, support the community by supporting our school of 70 kids to learn English. Our manager of Jomnan's runs this very school. Our Owner is Cambodian American who spent 8 years in a Thai refugee camp and gives back thousands of dollars every year to help Cambodia. She also has a non-profit in PP, called Dream Foundation. All this is just to make you aware that we don't work from a place to make people like you angry, we work from a place of love. You can keep fighting us, but we will stand strong and always do our best to provide the best food and service to all customers who visit us.

No exaggeration, our visits to Jomnan's kitchen were the highlight of a wonderful fortnight travelling through this amazing country. The menu contains a wide range of Khmer food with some other selections from the region. Everything we tried was delicious, including the imaginative cocktails and ice-cold beer. The setting is spectacular, as the restaurant is in an old colonial-style house.

What really sets this restaurant apart though are the staff. They are wonderfully polite and respectful to all the guests. If you take the trouble to chat with them you will find them delightful, with wonderful stories, and entertaining anecdotes about life in Cambodia, as well as invaluable local knowledge. Also they can recommend the best places to visit in Cambodia, off the beaten tourist path. We would especially like to mention (in no particular order), Rina (who greeted us, and attracted us to the restaurant in the first place), John/Sambo (was a blast to chat with), Rey (excellent source of travel information), Noy (superbly polite and attentive waiter). The other staff were also amazing (I can't remember their names though sorry).

Don't miss this restaurant. Five stars don't do it justice. You (like us) will want to go back!

We ate here based on other reviews. It was good - but not 5 stars. It took awhile to be served and we had to ask for someone to come to take our order. My beef lok lak was very good but my husband had the fish amok and didn't love it. Very attentive and kind staff and the drinks were delicious. The dessert was amazing.
