On my last night at the hotel, I decided to treat myself to a special dinner at one of the many hotel restaurants. I was a bit put off by the very loud music (i.e. the lady at the front was struggling to hear me) so I asked for somewhere quieter but there wasn't anywhere so i settled for inside (so i was away from the cigarette smoke at least). As i have a small appetite, i opted for the baked oyster starter and the Belgian waffle for dessert. The oysters were nice but beware the waiter said they were cooked but a grilled top meant they weren't cooked, just warmed on top. The waffle was easily the highlight - it was freshly made, fluffy and came with dark chocolate sauce that I wanted every last drop of! Overall a nice meal but the very loud music put me off.

Recently attended the Grand Friday Brunch. Classy restaurant and setting in the upmarket DIFC area of town. Nice outdoor terrace are for dining. Selection of food was great. Lots of live cooking stations outside - steak, lamb, shwarmas, fish, dim sum, and inside was sushi, oysters, pastries and deserts. They also have a proper cooked breakfast station. Overall selection, quantity and quality of the food was very good, as were the drinks. Staff were friendly and service was excellent They also didn't rush you away at the end of the brunch - i think it was close to 6pm before we finally left the restaurant. Overall top marks - a quality brunch. Will return, and its in the Entertainer too.

We have been 3 times in the last 3 months. Nice selection of sushi, seafood, meats, foie, breakfast (although I’m not really into it) and all live stations tend to change from time to time ! They tend to have paella (which is Awful btw) fish and chips, kebabs ... Also service tends to be good (but make sure you sit inside because outside service isn’t as great ... last time there were a few new waiters it seems and almost panicked every time they would have to serve you anything ...)
They have a huge dessert room, we are not big fun of desserts either - just ice cream and I must confess I didn’t like their ice cream much ...
overall it’s very nice ! Highly recommendable ! I find it overpriced but for Dubai standards which everything is overpriced it’s quite good !

The UAE brunch on a Friday has become a popular tradition for families and groups and Dubai offers a long list of venues . The Ritz Carlton's Cafe Belge is a relatively recent addition but now comes highly recommended. There are many sumptuous dishes for all stages of the brunch process to suit all palates. High quality beverages are dispensed liberally to accompany an excellent dining experience.

There is the usual three tier price structure but the mid range option is priced competitively at AED495 - thats prosecco, wine, beer etc.

It was a great day - thank you Cafe Belge

We dropped by after dinner for a couple of drinks. It was a lady’s night and therefore all the drinks were free of charge ! We had a very special treat with free fresh oysters. Great food choices and drinks ! Can’t go wrong with mussels !
Our friendly server, mr. Riyaz and the team really go extra mile ! Highly recommend !
