A party of 8 of us flew to the Jebel Ali on Mon 7/11/16 for an 8 nt stay to celebrate my 60 th birthday. My daughter had emailed them twice to see if there was a possibility of an upgrade as it was a special occasion. On arrival we were told there wasn't but we could start using the all inclusive facilities at 11am instead of 3pm.We checked into our rooms to find it was quite small, compared to other Dubai hotels we've stayed in and it overlooked the car park and the back of the hotels rubbish area.Oh well, never mind, you're not in the room that much so we just accepted it.We were there for 3 days and an influx of DHL company people came for an annual conference, now we realised why the hotel rooms were full! So was the bar,the pool, everywhere, however they went after a couple of days.We ate at all the speciality restaurants which were all lovely, esp the Caribbean and Shooters the steak restaurant. The four males went to the shooting range which they liked and the younger males also went to play golf which they both enjoyed. We did enjoy the fact it was a beach resort and not a city hotel which is what we've been to before. We went into Dubai a couple of times,on a boat trip and to the Burj al Arab for afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday, both were great and the cab fare was between £20-£25 each way which wasn't too bad for a 40 min drive from the hotel. All in all,we had a great time, perfect weather and lovely food and drinks, would recommend for all types of people.

Room Tip: Try and get a sea view room, the view on the other side is not great,we were in rm 406

Excellent stay at this resort. The food wasn't incredible, well presented and portions were large. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The all inclusive selection was spectacular. The cocktails were fab, lovely presentation and taste was lovely.

Very good service, nice resort, a bit off from Dubai. Very price food and not much discount for the children. Pools are ok but not that fun for children. over all this is not a hotel that I would recommend for another family with children. But if you dont have children then this is a very nice hotel. The golf course is very nice and staff is lovely. :)

Stayed here for 3 nights of our honeymoon on recommendation from friends who also honeymooned at the JA Jebel Ali and returned a second time for their babymoon. We were a little concerned initially by how far away the hotel is from the main city and whilst the hotel run a shuttle bus we were fortunate enough to have a family member in Dubai who picked us up and drove us back and forth.
The hotel itself was very nice, the staff very pleasant and excellent facilities. We had a beautiful view of the pool/beach area and were given complimentary sparkling wine, flowers and fruit. We only had breakfast and lunch on one day at the hotel but both were very pleasant. We are at the Shooters restaurant on our first evening which again you have to get a shuttle bus to but was worth the trip. Beautiful steak! The beach is very nice and we really liked the Anchor pool bar. Would probably not return due to the location being so far away from everything else but otherwise rate the hotel highly.
