Armani Amal starts off with an advantage being located in Burj Khalifa building offering stunning views of fountain n downtown Dubai. Decor is fuss free n minimalist and lighting just rightly muted.
Coming to food, it's straight forward comfort Indian food with thankfully not much fusion. High on taste and portions are just right for the two of us. My recommendation would be Tulsi murgh ( chicken chinks cooked in tandoori and infused with basil) to start with followed by Fish Zalfreizi ( Bengal style fries King fish, topped with bell peppers n onions, semi dry gravy, opt for medium spicy) in mains.
We are not dessert ppl so opted out of it but they do have wide array of Indian desserts. Being my better half's birthday we anyways were presented with a complimentary cake.
Service, when compared with other fine dining restaurants that we been to around the world, would be A ok. Not wow. Overall a lovely way to enjoy a wonderful occasion.
