The hotel is located in Al Hamra conrniche which is mid way between south and north Jeddah. Has a great sea view to Al Hamra and some tree filled island and nice properties as well as bight view Jeddah World largest sea fountain.
The cleanliness level is good , beds are nice and they offer a good vireity decent breakfast worthy of the read sea bride.

Room Tip: Sea view is a must

Falsely marketed as the Ramada Continental hotel or "newly-renovated by the prince"
Forced to pay for 3 nights extra due to a mistake by the agent's "supplier"
Sea view room became a city view room yet more than half the floor I was on was empty.
Room is not cleaned daily, went 3 days without room being vacuumed - dirt since check-in was visible.
Carpets were full of stains and looked like >10years old
Linen didn't fit the beds and was very uncomfortable
TV Channels that were not programmed properly so only had news and local soccer to watch - all the rest are in Arabic without English subtitles.
Interrupted several times even though "Do not disturb" was on.
Unable to charge anything to the room so need to pay cash to the waiters giving you room service.
Accepts $ at >5% less than their actual value.

NEVER stay at this hotel!

Room Tip: Choose another hotel

Finally I found (thanks to our local agent) a good hotel, with good balance between price, comfort and location.
Easy to reach if you have to drive around Jeddah, in a good place, with good breakfast at a reasonable price.

Room Tip: Choose equal room number if you want to have sea view, but at the same time wakeup from the mosque, or the opposite..

They did not clean my room one of the days and did not provide me even with clean towels. In general the staff does not speak English, but some waiters such in room service and restaurant are nice and friendly.

I booked two rooms in this hotel through agoda.com, and upon check-in the receptionist simply said only one junior suit was available, and the hotel was fully booked. When showing agoda.com confirmation of two rooms with sea view, and fully charged, the same receptionist said it was agoda.com mistake. When we asked any senior person to speak to, he said only him was available. the communication was one way, and no propoer response.
We had to walk looking for another hotels at 12 AM after a long flight.

Room Tip: not recommended
