Attended an invitation for lunch. The panoramic view to the Red Sea is awesome. Services and food quality was great by all means. The food variation was wonderful too. Amwaj restaurant is very suitable for a great day of a nice view and food. The night view could be great too but after the completion of the renovation of Jeddah Corniche. I Of The

I stayed 1 night in this hotel in August 2016. 220 Euros.

Basic Hilton standards are met, e.g. check-in & check-out went smoothly (with warm welcome by Saudi Nationals ! This has to be highlighted !), room with good range of amenities, cleanliness, bed, pillows, etc.

Security set up is good, may be one of the best in Jeddah.

Still, this is good to mention that room furniture is ageing. When you stay there (this is not cheap...), you have the feeling to be back to the 70s or the 80s... or not to stay in a XXI Century 5* hotel...

The gym has been rehabilitated and now provides customers the state-of-the-art of equipment and gym area set up. One of the best seen in 5* hotels. Swimming pool still very nice.

The Executive lounge offers a good environment with real food set up at dinner time, e.g. much above some other Hilton hotels' lounge standards : (

Corporate Hilton should visit this lounge and spread the best practice standard world wide as there is a trend in many of its lounges to just go for cheap and low level food & service. Free alcohol alone doesn't make a good lounge...

The staff of the lounge is still customer focused, smiling, helpfulness. This is a pleasure to stay/rest there.

Only one problem which is recurring in Hilton Jeddah: noise of local chidren. There is obviously a problem of lack of education. In an hotel, customers are supposed to sleep. Children are not supposed to play and scream at 4.30am in hotels corridors with their maids. Hilton management should post signs to inform those customers, and make sure its security team patrols to stop such behaviors.

Overall, this was a good stay and I recommend this hotel, which is ageing but secure.
